Wow, stupendous card and mail art, Kristina! I bet when the postal workers see your envelopes they call all the other employees over to admire it. You are so talented! Thank you for the great video.
What an awesome envelope and card. I can see why it took so long Kristina but you are right, it was so worth it. The little envelopes coming out of the mailboxes on the card are just adorable.
The card and envelope turned out fantastic...I like the mailbox stamp and dies...you did a great job with the coloring and the recipient is going to be thrill receiving this great envelope.
You make it look so easy and fast. I painted you pumpkin envelope and it took me all day and I think I used every craft supply I owned! Thanks for the inspiration. Mail art is my favorite
That is so cute. Art Impressions does it again. I just love their stamps. And that envelope is amazing. Your hand lettering just astounds me every time I see it
What an amazing mail project! 😍😍😍I love your envelope, so beautiful with the watercoloring, the mailboxes stamp and your handwriting! Also the card is so beautiful and cute with all these mini envelops and presents and the small bird all around the mailboxes! I love this project!❤❤❤❤❤🤗🤗🤗📬📮📫
Hi Kristina, love your artwork. All your envelope designs and colourings are amazing. We learn from your videos and it has helped us improve a lot... Keep posting videos for us.... Btw you have a sweet voice... Cheers from India.
Oh my gosh, I just ran into your video and what you did is just beautiful. I wish that it was coming to me. Tee hee! You are so talented and I wanted to say that I just love that card and mostly the envelope. Awesome!
the final shot reminded me of an airline for some reason. like planes taking off... maybe because of the reds and the light blues... (apart from, of course, the post office)... love your process
This is one of those projects that just grabs me and says" YOU need to try this one ! I love the stamp set .. LOVE what YOU did with it .. ! Additionally I always appreciate it when watercolor is used since that is the medium I work in. ... So.. If I may.. a couple of things.. Paper makes such a huge difference in how water colors "behave" .. So many factors go into each mfgs "recipe(s)" and it varies not only from one mfg to another , but within a company depending on the "grade" student vs artist quality ... etc .. The fact that your watercolor didn't move as easily on the hot press vs the cold press... has less to do with the hot or cold pressing, as to do with the sizing used. The amounts of internal as well as external sizing will greatly affect the painting process. A heavily sized paper will allow the watercolor to move across the surface more easily than one with less sizing for example. Each has it's benefits and drawbacks.. it just depends on what you are trying to achieve. After many years of working in this medium I have learned to always do a test with new papers ( ones I am not familiar with ) as there is typically a learning curve with each one. Next .. the watercolors on paper ... the little squares .. These can be made with any watercolor paints .. simply by laying down a layer of paint from the tube, on sturdy card stock .. letting it dry .. You can make a small, compact paint palette to take out and about for painting on location when carrying a large volume of supplies would be cumbersome..... Let's say on a hike .. or bird watching for example .. ok.. I'm done.. LOL ... Again... I absolutely LOVE this project .. Have been loving your channel and all your wonderful inspiration since I first found your channel a couple of years ago. Always enjoy your videos and learn something as well.. thanks for the time and effort you put into making these wonderful videos .. : ]
Love it. Just an FYI, when changing the way you address the envelope there may be extra postage. Found this out when I mailed from PO . I'm sure it was explained to me then but I've forgotten the reasoning. Thanks for sharing.
As usual. Love your art! This one is truly more painstaking (when it comes to time), but SURE WOULD APPRECIATE IT, if I were the recipient. Just curious... never heard of there being an option to create your own stamps. Checked out the Silhouette Mint via your link and dropped it in my cart; what is the quality of the stamp, would I be proud of the result for use as my creative logo on the back of my cards? Thanks in advance.
You do a lot of designs for the outside the card. Do you have any ideas for how to do the inside of a card ?? Like how should we write our sentiments on the inside. How do we add borders. Etc.
Hi, this is amazing! I got this set after seeing your video. Can I ask what the one extra die cut piece in this set is? You can see it at 10:45 on this video.
Hmm... I never noticed that extra die before. Looks like it might have been for a balloon shape? But there's no balloon in the stamps. Not really sure.
Wow, Wow, Wow what a project..It's a masterpiece, anyone would be honored to recieve such a gift...How long did this take you ??? Fingers crossed... pick me !!!
Do you ever decorate the inside of your cards? After doing so much to my card fronts the inside always kind of looks plain and empty. If you have ideas that might make a good video tutorial.
Kristina I have a favor to ask and only if you have time!! my friend's Gram is turning 95 on the 21st, she has asked that all of her FB friends send her Gram a birthday card and is trying to reach at least 95 ( for her age of course) . If you have time I would really appreciate it if you could send her one of your cards. I of course have mailed mine out all ready!!! I think the quality is great! It handled the thin type of my return address just fine. :)
❤️
You do a lot of designs for the outside the card. Do you have any ideas for how to do the inside of a card ?? Like how should we write our sentiments on the inside. How do we add borders. Etc.
I very rarely do anything additional on the inside of my cards. I reserve that space to write a personal message to the recipient. :)
I have been so wanting to try the Karen markers!

New subscriber! Question, does she actually mail what she makes to the person on the envelope?
Hi there! Yes, I do mail them and they arrive to the recipient. :)
That’s awesome!

Nope! That’s where I write a message to the card recipient.
