Thank you for your life sharing. But one thing still confuse me is that why it is not common for international students to apply for campus housing? Are there not enough quotas or just out of consideration for amenity?

Yeah u can get accepted with IGCSE, but it will only help you get a accepted into a foundation course. You would need A levels to do bachelors
