MaxChaos24 was initially hired to help push more micro-transactions in a way that wouldn't upset players. We used to be friends and did supertest together. When I talked to him about how this monetization would ruin the game he gave me the "if I don't do it someone else would," excuse. The whole goal of this game from the start was to push mobile mtx in WoT. That's why WG bought out a mobile dev team and rebranded them Wargaming Chicago Baltimore (WGCB). Max was just there to drag out the process. Also why he's there to stay and the supertest community won't change.
First of all, good video, imo you are 100% correct. Every time hear WG employees talking I get sick of the nonsense they say. They have no clue how their own game works. Not seeing that 4,8k damage output in 3,84 seconds is pure incompetence. And then we dont take in to account the rest of the stats like bleeddamage, viewrange and cammo etc... Arrogance combined with incompetence is their issue.
Great video - subbed, 9 years under my belt on this game, the strategic direction and decisions since 6.0 have been shocking. I stuck with it hoping things would get better, but no they really haven’t quantity over quality is the theme here They repeatedly ask “tell us what will make things better” …people do all the damn time and a lot of it gets a lot of up votes …just nothing happens Why don’t they lay out a roadmap have a debate with us like most other devs do ..,they literally do everything secret squirrel in an ivory tower it’s bizarre and just infuriating, also half the time on these streams they avoid the difficult questions…start tackling them head on!
I wish I would have saved some battle videos from 10-8-6-4-2 yrs ago,..to truly show the difference of PENETRATION AND BOUNCE MECHANICS..."EVERY SHOT PENS NOW"..., just saying..I believe it's a factor in the 3 minute battle Quest
Tried playing last night first time in months, the new tier 10 light tank, the vigilante or whatever, took tho broken game and pulverized it beyond repair. I’ll never play again
I've been in Supertest twice. Once as one of the fist wave of testers then again briefly after the 6.0 update. You're massively overestimating the difference you could make. It's bug testing. They never asked what we thought. They rarely even acknowledged when we told them anyway. There was no discussion. They only wanted to know if their planned update would break the live server and for all the shouting about useless testers missing things and not taking it seriously, we caught and reported so many bugs and glitches with video or screenshots along with instructions of how to replicate the bugs so they could see them first hand. 90% of the time the bugs we reported went live anyway and were patched later, sometimes much later. I left the program twice because I got tired of being expected to report for duty and work tirelessly only to be met with an attitude of "huh? Yeah, yeah. We'll get to it". Don't waste your time. This new CM whoever she is will be the latest sacrificial goat offered to appease us as they once more promise that they're listening and want to do better.

I was one of WG and the games harshest critics on the forums for the mess 6.0 made and their handling of it, specifically in the way they dropped the update as they were heading out the door on their Christmas break and left us with a largely unplayable game and time off to fill. When they asked for new testers to apply presumably because so many had left the program and game, I did so as a joke and was shocked when approved. I thought that with it being a new build they might be just slightly interested in how we would polish it so I stuck around for maybe 2 months. I was wrong though and all the features we lost that we were able to have restored came from the screaming on the forum and not St, which was still just glorified bug hunting.
BUT if you public test, people will not BUY THE SHITTY PREMIUM TANKS..and there's plenty of them ( 152 or Jag 8.8( which has been outclassed for 7 yrs).as an example )
I agree the dev streams are boring to watch they clearly have no idea how their game works some of them anyways and it's cringe sometimes and they will show stuff we don't care about like charts n stuff i only watch to try win giveaways

A “passionate player” wouldn’t have put a toxic tank in the game.
No CCs, CAs or content creators are employees or shareholders so will never stop a tank from being released.

I had a game just yesterday 6x 249's on each team, game lasted 2 minutes 41 seconds
that's 12 1k health tanks. So it's really like 8 vs 8 or something when you consider dpm and health. It might even be worse.
Short games like that were happening before the T249 as well

They stopped listening to testers feedback after the first year. Your opinion would just fall on deaf ears.
Great video! I bought the vigilant and rly want it nerfed it's too good. It feels wrong clipping 2 tier 8 lights tanks with 1 clip.

Most of the good WG devs moved on to WoWSL or from the company entirely. I don't even recognize most of these staff anymore.
The T249 has better camo than even the Manticore.
