Have you tried Zebra Mildliners? They come in wonderful colors and they are not as neon colored, so they are easy on the eyes for long periods of studying. As for the sticky note smearing, the pigma micron marker pens are awesome for that. - from an Engineer who loves great stationary

Since you do use many highlighters, which ones have you found that don’t bleed through the page so much? I love using highlighters to help with my notes but I hate hate buying some and going home only to have them bleed through the pages 🥲
just slip a plain sheet of paper underneath the page you’re highlighting & keep it in there until it’s dry. it won’t bleed through unless it’s super duper heavy (which they most of the time never are)
Hey maybe try the pastel mildliners from zebra! They are quite expensive (at least in Europe haha) but they have lasted me over three years of almost daily usage.
