Hi All! Lisa got 2 out of 5 choices correct (according to me) 🤣 I forgot she doesn't care for clear pens - so some of my guesses were doomed from the get-go.
My favorite of Lisa's choices is the Faber-Castel Ambition - sleek and beautiful! Though that Champagne Decimo is also gorgeous.
Did Lisa miss a favorite of yours? Let me know in the comments and I'll be sure to mention it to her!
Thanks for watching & Happy Fountain Penning!! 😃

I might add Jinhao X750 but it is less than $50. Please give her my greetings

I watch a lot of FP and crafting content, both from individuals and commercial creators. Far and away in the FP realm, Anderson delivers the best, most concise, most balanced content. The differences are in no particular order: humility, knowledge, an absolute avoidance of spouting off ill-informed nonsense, and the most excellent humor without being twee.
You always brighten my day, and I love love love the bonus videos!

Woah the cross one is so stunning... I never considered pens above 40$ but that one... I'm so tempted. It's just purely aesthetic.....
I wonder if the cap and the nib are nice

Eric, you’re just too adorable in your naughty lying! But this was a fun list. The Studio keeps catching my eye.

I think my favourite pen I got for under $100 is my 1912 Mabie Todd Swan C2 eyedropper filler "safety pen." (Has a screw on cap when a lot of others didn't, and caps could come off.)
Got it because I got lucky, or it wouldn't be in the given price range.
Vintage tends to fit nicely with my budget (great writers for less than a lot of modern ones), so I can easily have vintage Esterbrook pens in the price range. Attractive colours, VERY durable, 33 different nib options. For under $70 restored, and frequently less. What's not to like? 😉
Modern, though, I think I will agree with Lisa about Cross, and there are other ones. It's all about individual taste and willingness to pay, or we'd have a single pen, with "GOOD PEN" stamped on, that would be all that's available. Why, person to person, it's generally a different list. 😁
Keep up the quality videos and service! I really appreciate you folks!

Faber-castell steel nibs are so underrated! As a lefty, the medium Fab nib is amazing! For me, it's the smoothest/softest steel nib I've found... Next from that is a big step up to the gold M Vanishing Point nib.

Eric is the perfect sidekick, kinda like Slim Pickens or Gabby Hayes. I'm curious if Eric is considering running for political office since lying seems to come so naturally for him, lol.

I own two of them, the Waterman Hemisphere and the Faber Castell Ambition. Both lovely pens to write with.

I am 0 out of 5. At least I am being honest.

Fun! I keep considering the F-C Ambition, and now would be the time during the sale, but I'm not sure where my grip would fall on the very small section. I forgot to try one out last time I was in your Appleton store. They are pretty pens and quite distinctive. (There are solid colored Preras, by the way -- I have two. They are marvelous pens!)

Faber Castel pens don't get the love they deserve IMO!
