Yay! I have two GvonFC Ambitions, a Kaweco Sport Brass and a Lamy Studio, so don't feel excluded from this! I have upgraded to gold nibs on both Lamy and Kaweco, the Lamy being a significant improvement, the Kaweco more of an expensive minor improvement! The Ambitions are not perfect pens, but they do look good (I have pearwood and Flamingo) and the GvonFC steel nibs are lovely. And yes, the propeller clip on the Studio makes it a super reliable pocket pen.
Hahah Eric cracks me up so much! I have an AL Sport in Anthracite, and it's my favorite travel pen. Do you guys have any feedback on the Faber-Castells from artists? I'm looking for something substantial but simple for sketching and your mention got me curious.
Come on: for those of us with small handwriting, a Pilot Prera is the only pen I want to see, get a grip: really, you prefer Lamy, FC and Kaweco over Pilot?
That Sheaffer 300 is truly under rated. The nib could be a touch larger looking…..I laughed at Eric as he went along. Well done gents.

Great video. Unfortunately, none of the pens mentioned are in my wheelhouse. The only one that comes close is the TWSBI Vac 700.
The only one I liked is the Sheaffer 300. None of the others
