Just watched it on Netflix, great movie. I've seen Neil Maskell in movies over the years - Football Factory, Rise of the Footsoldier, etc - and he's just getting better and better. He's brilliant in this, and the ending is powerful.

It's clearly supposed to be a shock twist ending. Throughout the film it's gritty and realistic but at the end the twist is that he died and then came back from the dead as a vengeful spirit

There was no context for it, he didnt follow any religion or make any rituals or deals with demons or anything, thats why i think there's a bit missing. There was no other reference or clue that it was going to happen. It was like watching the usual suspects but Kyzer Soze just turning out to be some guy who hadnt been in the movie. Its not really a twist if there's no build up or reference to it
Exciting movie, but the parts where someone is supposedly so intimidated by a guy without a gun, into doing whatever he wants, are a little corny.......one part he does have a knife on a guy, but then they separate by like 5 feet when they get into a ride, and the other guy just keeps along with it anyway. Could have easily escaped.
I was almost disappointed. I couldn't believe it, I thought 'no way!.....Maskell has sold out!, this film doesn't add up?' The British drama film scene isn't known for things that are too far fetched (unbelievable), or nice endings, that's why people luv it! Then.....the ending. Just right, not overcooked. Just got back from watching it, it was pretty grim and a surprise ending. Thought it was rod from the football factory and I was right. Ending twist felt a bit rushed and I might have to watch it again knowing what I know now, but not sure its the type of film I can sit through twice. I give it 7.5/10 if you like unrelenting violence then this is for you. Happy I went and saw it, just, not quite sure how to conclude it yet. In a world full of woke bollocks and political correctness, this film was pretty much the opposite of that.

I cant tell if it's throw back and it was a hit from the past, or if its just part of him getting revenge now but they werent important enough to give context or story to.
After reading some of the comments comparing this to dead man's shoes, I expected great things from this film, but I was sadly disappointed... I switched it off after 35 minutes because it was depressing and the storyline was cack... Smh
It’s sad to see that films like these only get £15K in the box office. I watched it this year and it became one of my favourite pictues
Anything with Neil in it is worth a watch.

Watched this today, and ive gotta say it's main protagonist is a great actor. Good story, decent violence and i always like a good twisty film.
Neil Maskell is fantastic in these gritty films. Just about to watch this now. Hope it grips me in the same way Kill List did.
