@@hazrulizuan3558yet still even in modern shows they are allowed to show blood when charecters beaten up and kill off people. Geats for example is pretty close to Ryuki with it's premise of only 1 rider must survive in the end. Build was pretty dark at some moments as well, it really depends on writers, if you judge show just by costumes(that are made based of gimmicky toys, I remind) you won't get the full picture. As people say "don't judge book by it's cover".
And many people died to the MOTW and weren't revived upon said monster's death. The hero was too late(or even unaware) about the victim being attacked. No gimmick victim stuff(like mind control or turned to stone or emotions corruption), just dead.
@@hazrulizuan3558 Recent Kamen Rider series are still dark. Some of stuffs in the newest series,KR Gavv are disturbing. Geats was very serious. And many of those series have permanent deaths. Then, we have Zero-One killed half the main cast. And to be honest, I am an adult, but the scenes of those Humangears turning into Magia are pretty disturbing. In the US, those series wouldn't be classified as kids' show.

If you ever decide to do a Kill Count for Faiz, one easy to miss death (because it happens offscreen to a guy whose face we never see) is the first user of the Kaixa Gear, Kouta Takamiya. He's a separate person from the guy who fights the Crocodile Orphenoch; that was Kiyotaka Nishida, and we do actually see him die.
I watched dragon knight back then, that was the American version of it and I gave up watching it for some strange reasons but Kamen Rider Ryuki which is the original Japanese version of it is much more darker than the other version and I just can’t believe that Japan has the original heroes in their world and as far as I know Super Sentai was first filmed there before Power Rangers existed so that makes a lot more sense.🤔
Yeah he also probably wasn’t a good idea in the long run to have a contract with fifty monsters. Imagine not being able to keep them fed…No way you’re escaping all fifty of those things…
