Just a guy who simping on Kamen Rider Femme.
(WIP) Kamen Rider Ryuki PS1 English Patch & HD Texture
The remastering progress at the time this video was uploaded is about 50%. I hope to release it before the new year. For now it only works with RetroArch PC.
What has been finished:
1. All Japanese text has been translated.
2. All necessary texture files (a total of 511 files) have been upscaled.
3. All Rider cards, the image gallery, and character portraits have been changed.
Things left to do:
1. Reskin some graphics (such as option interface, character selection screen, health bar, etc.).
2. Fix the visual glitches that existed in the original textures (especially those of the Riders).
3. Make the backgrounds of the stages look more realistic.
4. Reskin the particle textures.
5. Readjust some text and its position.
6. Make sure the translations fit the game's context (it was translated by ChatGPT).
7. Balance the colors of the characters' portraits.
8. Add more references from the shows to the translated text and changed graphics.
9. Make Indonesian translation.
Optional things to do:
1. Create custom textures for all Riders (blank form, fan-made).
2. Create variants for the character selection screen icons.
3. Convert stage backgrounds from Agito (PS1), Blade (PS2), and 555 (PS2).
Notice:
1. I simply replaced the textures, so don't expect it to create new gameplay for the game.
2. Most of the new textures were borrowed from other games and the internet.
3. Some graphics (such as the main menu black background, the red-yellow health bar, and the gallery bar) have no texture files; they may be vector objects created by the game itself.
4. I want to, but I can't do anything with the opening video and the sfx.

@@hazrulizuan3558yet still even in modern shows they are allowed to show blood when charecters beaten up and kill off people. Geats for example is pretty close to Ryuki with it's premise of only 1 rider must survive in the end. Build was pretty dark at some moments as well, it really depends on writers, if you judge show just by costumes(that are made based of gimmicky toys, I remind) you won't get the full picture. As people say "don't judge book by it's cover".
And many people died to the MOTW and weren't revived upon said monster's death. The hero was too late(or even unaware) about the victim being attacked. No gimmick victim stuff(like mind control or turned to stone or emotions corruption), just dead.
@@hazrulizuan3558 Recent Kamen Rider series are still dark. Some of stuffs in the newest series,KR Gavv are disturbing. Geats was very serious. And many of those series have permanent deaths. Then, we have Zero-One killed half the main cast. And to be honest, I am an adult, but the scenes of those Humangears turning into Magia are pretty disturbing. In the US, those series wouldn't be classified as kids' show.

He's a separate person from the guy who fights the Crocodile Orphenoch; that was Kiyotaka Nishida, and we do actually see him die.
