Black Myth: Wukong Fox Quest and EPIC Reward!

Welcome back to ipatsmi Gaming. Today, we’re tackling the Fox Quest! We assist a vengeful fox spirit to take down the monk Non-Void and earn the Snow Fox Brush Curio as a reward.
This Curio is a game-changer, extending the duration of your transformations. The quest begins at the Forest of Felicity Shrine. Look for a corpse near the shrine wearing a Fox Scarf. Speak to it three times, and it will reveal its desire for revenge against a Yaoguai. The fox will then provide the Snow Fox Brush, which allows you to transform into a fox.
Your next destination is the New Thunderclap Temple Entrance. If you’ve already unlocked the Temple Entrance Shrine, you can teleport there directly. Otherwise, follow the main path from the Forest of Felicity Shrine until you reach the temple entrance.
Approach Non-Void in Fox Form Start at the Temple Entrance Shrine and proceed into the temple.
Head through the main building and exit at the back.
Ascend the staircase to your left, drop down, and enter the next building.
Climb up and cross the bridge at the back. Then ascend the staircase leading to Non-Void.
Be sure to stay in your fox form as you approach Non-Void. If you don’t, the quest becomes incompletable and you won’t trigger the necessary cutscene.
Non-Void is a formidable boss, but with the right strategy, you can take him down.
Use Thrust and Pole Stances: Non-Void attacks from a distance, so Thrust stance is excellent for landing hits from afar. Pole stance helps you close the gap quickly.
Exploit Stagger Opportunities: Non-Void is highly susceptible to being staggered. Utilize the Wind Tamer spell from Chapter 2 and your transformations to keep him vulnerable.
Cloud Step for Positioning: The Cloud Step spell is invaluable for getting behind Non-Void or bridging the distance for follow-up attacks.
Be Aggressive: Keep the pressure on Non-Void. Defensive spells like Rock Solid aren’t recommended, as the key is to overwhelm him with relentless attacks. Once you’ve defeated Non-Void, return to the fox spirit at the Forest of Felicity. It will upgrade the Snow Fox Brush into a permanent Curio, enhancing your transformations for the rest of your journey.

That is not true. You can speak to him in your normal form and then reenter as the fox. It does not make any difference. It will still trigger the quest and his reaction.
