I am gonna to do a tool show and tell at my garage. All the tools I purchase is on a tight budget. Most of my customers are mostly Disabled / Retired, low-income families, Veterans and First responders.
@@jefftovani5535 I see the wrenches are yet to be posted on the Tekton site…I see they will have a satin finish and only 12 pt. I was hoping for 6 pt. and shiny again. Oh well.
Tekton is using US manufacturing facilities more than Craftsman, that is the reason I switched from my favorite supplier of my youth to Tekton when i started to build a tool set for my daughter’s hobby box. I love the fact that they are a full size handle on a beefy pry bar. Thank you for the update, respect the patina, nothing in my tool box is free from scratches or oil stains!
I have the full set of their screwdrivers and love / love these handles. On picks -- my go to are the Ares: ARES 70255 - Interchangeable Hook and Pick Set - 6-Piece Set --- check them out pretty unique, and have a nice case Hey mini pry bars, or full sized p-bars would be a cool series!
I’d love to see tekton make long picks with these handles! I have their standard picks and use them every day. I bought these on release but never brought them to work so they haven’t seen use yet but I love how they feel!!
They are holding up well,1/4 bars are stout! love the handles!! tekton tools are solid, mid level tools no doubt!! i would like to see long pick handle pry bars as well!!
These might just be the way to go. They’re just beefy enough to not worry about putting some pressure on them unlike the thin little ones. And yes I’d love to see a review on some of their newer tools that come out! Even if it’s just a single size I’d appreciate a gander!
Hi nick these are nice, thier stout, they are not going to bend easy!! when tekton releases thier new line of ratchet wrenches i will be doing reviews on them, for sure!!
Jeff, I have been thinking of getting the Tektons. Question on that 1/4 dr that was broken a few videos ago, did you try and convert the handle to a punch or the ratchet head to a palm ratchet ?
You do a lot of tool reviews, but I think your a wrench guy. Much like with women, mechanics are drawn to tools of different sorts. I'm a roll cart and electronics tool kinda guy myself 😂
I have a couple texting vise grips and they are a bunch of turds next to Kinpex. Some of the other tools might be better but when you go up against a giant like the Germans you can't compete. I would not recommend any testing pliers when there's Knipex for nearly the same price.

Looks like a great set of pry bars. I wish Tekton would put that style handle on a ratchet.
Me too!, you would really like that genius red hard plastic handle ratchet that i have!!!
The tips look like they have done really well the heat treatment must be right on the money.
Yea they work great! made in usa to boot! go tekton!! thanks my friend!!

I have saved the head for a palm ratchet, that was good idea!! i havent did anything with the handle yet!!
Man I would lose this all to often for it to be 30$, I’d rather buy as cheap as possible for pocket screw drivers.
Yea i hear you, have you ever lost 10mm socket,or wrench, those always walk away!! lol!
@@jefftovani5535 knock on wood I haven’t lost the socket yet but I still have no clue where that wrench ended up at
I tend to loose #2PH stubby s a lot
