Hi Annie.. I love Maria’s Tag and the thoughts behind it.. BTW You can leave your Tag Branch Tree up if you want to 😘as the festival of Christmas actually continues until 2 February or Candlemas.. Like some other Christian festivals.. Candlemas takes some of its elements from Paganism…. In pre-Christian times, it was the festival of light. This ancient festival marked the mid point of winter, half way between the winter solstice (shortest day) and the spring equinox. Any Christmas decorations not taken down by Twelfth Night (January 5th) should be left up until Candlemas Day and then can be taken down.. but don’t worry.. if you leave them up longer.. I won’t tell the Decoration Police 😁 X
hehe, "no one expects .... the Decoration Police!!" Seriously, thank you, that's really interesting, I love finding out about the origins of customs and suchlike. I think maybe when I have cleared somle sapce in here, I'm going to make room for the tree to be up as a permanent display for all kinds of handcrafted items, it was such a lovely way to enjoy the tags and danglers :) xo
Hi Annie, I have been trying to contact Bazaar, but they are not responding to my emails. I live in the United States so sent them an email as you suggested.
Hi Sylvia - they are quite a small team, it may be that they're still catching up after the Christmas break. They're usually very responsive and helpful. I would suggest emailing again in case your first one got missed or went into their spam folder or something, hopefully that will do the trick :)
Beautiful stitched tag from Maria, love the warm, rich colours of the fabrics.
Gorgeous aren't they, and IRL the texture is amazing, doesn't really come across on camera :)
Love those colours, aren't they scrumptious ❤
Yes they are! :) xo
Lovely tag Annie Well done Maria!
Gorgeous isn't it Liz? xo
