Anyone curious about CFMOTO, please READ THIS Thanks a lot for the request, you read my mind before I even commented! INFO ON THE CFORCE for those curious about it: As he said the bottom end power is great, this is a torque engine, it’s like riding a 850 can am on the bottom end but higher rpm it does fall off. Makes about the same HP as the 650 outlander. Overall it is based on the outlander max chassis. Very similar but with some upgraded bracing in some areas that actually makes the chassis stiffer. People say “oh it’s china crap” believe it or not CFMOTO makes a hell of a product. I’m a performance engineer and designer, they did an amazing job on the engineering part of the Cforce and Zforce/Uforce. I’ve had Polaris, Honda, Yamaha, Kawasaki and Suzuki’s before, out of all the bikes I’ve owned the cforce 800 is honestly my favorite to date, it’s well build, reliable as hell, fun and has a ton of secret features such as Polaris lock and ride & can am link attachment compatible, obviously manual locking diff and 4wd, arched front A arms, tunable factory shocks for compression and rebound. OBD2 diagnostics that allows use of a pocket automotive scanner to watch data and diagnostics. The CVTech clutches are adjustable, that’s right no clutch kit is really needed! You can put 30’s on and recalibrate the secondary to run like stock (stock is an economy setting for lower rpm cruising) or all out 7200rpm power! Also there is a setting to correct the speedometer for tire size changes to get accurate distance and speed. The axle shafts are massive with 8 ball cages using titanium bracing. There extremely strong! The seat is a little firmer then the can am but once you get some miles on it the foam softens up, a can am seat should swap on though with a little trimming of the seat clips. The hitch doesn’t mount to the differential like can am, instead it’s frame braced so your not tugging on the diff housing deflecting it. Fluids are off the shelf products, no special non sense required. 15-40 oil and 75-90 gear oil for trans and differentials. The brakes are a bit of an odd ball, the right foot brake operated all 4 discs, the hand brake only does the front. People find that weird but testing I’ve found this to be a superior design actually, I can run front brakes and throttle with one hand, if I need to panic stop you can literally stand on the foot brake and it STOPS FAST! I’ve found this setup extremely useful on steep hills and side hills where I can stand on one side of the bike and operate everything smoothly with a single hand while balancing with the other or holding a branch or whatever. Factory fender flares are awesome, the wheels don’t look bad either, it’s got a good sound. Factory exhaust is extremely quiet for hunters in fact. If you remove the silencer it does have a good sound to it. Now the complaints I have with the non mud edition: springs are very stiff, there work focused for sure. I’m currently working to develop a spring application swap for cheap ride improvements. Straight cut trans gears are a little loud but quiet down a lot after break in. Yes the top end rpm is a little weak, but she is a heavy bike for one and two the cam profile is torque focused. This is not intended to be a race bike, outlander is more race focused, CFMOTO sets up there engines to be 100% duty cycle meaning it can run at peak power forever without interruption or issues. The factory CST tires are in-fact 6 plys, it says 2 on the side wall but that’s the nylon plys not total plys! The down side to these are there run flat tires, they are hard as a rock! Get another set of tires it makes a massive difference. I’ll be posting a in depth review on the physical attributes on my channel if anyone is interested. It’s not a outlander replacement but it’s damn close! I got one for $7200USD out the door, a outlander 650XT (still missing some features of the CFMOTO) was gonna run me about 11,450 out the door US. That’s a substantial savings and yet I have equal fun on this as I did a outlander. I didn’t mean to steal the show EhTV just wanted to give some small info into the brand. I’ll be posting soon on CFMOTO in a way most haven’t yet, stay tuned. And thanks again for the CFMOTO look on the mud edition!

The lads made it quite clear to me that they were not done fine tuning. So I can’t wait to try one again when they have.
eh TV really if you swapped a different cam in that would fix the top end sudden power fall. It’s just not ground for a hard 7000rpm pull. It’s more of a 3000-6000 peak range setup. If I can get my hands on a set of outlander factory cams I’d be glad to measure and if need be resize them to fit for a higher HP profile. If you ever cam the Rene, send me the factory’s, I’ll give ya a few bucks for it. There good bikes, if you want a mud racer...ehhh I’d lean to a outlander at that point but they’ve got potential for sure. Any CFMOTO you come across when your out I’d appreciate coverage on. I’m trying to dig into Performance of them and if I can get enough info together I may make Performance packages and such for them and sell them to the public. It’s a great brand, I truly find the engineering to be very well made overall. Some wear items like bushings are a little soft but with some parts swapping they can be upgraded!
@Tittle Diesel Performance LLC, ive a 19 cfmoto 850xc, runs great, only things that bother me is the noise of the engine, it’s sounds something like a supercharger but electric at the same time if you know what I mean, and when u take a sharp turn the axles have this knocking sound which I find very annoying, I hate the fact that it has a limiter when your in “L” gear and when your in “H” aswell in L the limiter goes off at around 25km/h and in H it goes off at around 105km/h. Is there by any chance your able to just remove the limiter completely so it will have no restrictions whatsoever? The one in L bothers me most as when I was going up a steep hill and I needed that extra power the limiter turns on and when it does it feels like you went in deceleration for a few split seconds which almost caused me to not make it to the top and thankfully it didn’t end in a rollover or possibly worse.
I really enjoy trying out the different brand machines. They all have strengths and weaknesses in areas, but I'd ride anything instead of nothing. Lol cheers man
I am sure as I am typing this they are working on the 1000. Great Vid bro. I did like how you had a change of heart riding through the water because the guy was nice enough to let you try it out. I lived by a large sand pit and let a couple try my ATV I had people come tell me that they were taking jumps ripping it up even rolled it a few times so I just stopped letting people test drive anything .
For sure man, I got my opportunity to test it in the water the next day riding with the Bouette group. Great bunch of folks really. Invited us to a mud park in Quebec soon. Should be cool
I’ve got a cfmoto Cforce 400 and it’s a great bike it does what I need it to do. The dealer I got mine from said within the next few years cfmoto will be a well known off road vehicle brand like can am Honda Polaris and all the other big known names.

Mr Lariata yeah pretty big fan of my CanAm to. But nice to see what the folks are up to, eh. Great job on it for sure. If they do bring it to production I think they’ll do well.
Braydon Mckindley it’s just a retune of the ECU, it removes the top speed limiter in the process so you don’t have to use the button on the handle bar. Doesn’t cause any issues with anything though.
