Yea autotune saved her on the verses :). Can't even really hear her since it was all robotic. also climax was pre-recorded but whatever she was sick. I love Celine but this is not the performance to praise her please... After 2008 she rarely sings anything truly live (There's either live autotune or lipped climaxes) and you know what? That does bother me cuz she still can hit the notes. I know her aim is to have more longevity in her voice but this is not the way. She sang live Bb5s in 2018 or smthn. She doesn't have to do this.
And all done with a cold and a sore throat! Even when her voice croaked a bit at the end it was still perfection. She’s amazing ♥️

They are levels below her artistry. She's way more talented above board when it comes to musicality. Vocally you can like who you like but logistically you're 100% wrong lmao.

Whitney and Celine blow off Mariah's wig with a single note, while Mariah just whistles back. Next you'll be telling me that Justin Bieber is levels above Marvin Gaye because he's got a wider fan base, made more money, etc etc. You about 14 years old, right? lol.

@@sinx1057 If it's just about vocals, you reserve a right to your opinion. It's extremely bias, and I can tell you've never listened to Mariah Carey's all that much to make such an outlandish statement. I recommend you listen to her live vocals in her prime because she has more lung capacity, power and range than you would expect. And objectively speaking, they all do the same thing very differently so it's hard to say which one is better overall vocally.
A video of her before this event just popped up for me where she says she was having a hard time and didn't have a voice. Her hitting this during this struggle was top notch. However, at the end of the performance, she stated "it's done, yes, but at what cost". She knows the risk, and took it. She is irreplaceable. She has built an empire. She is a legend. She's incredibly talented and amazing.
That was footage from a concert in Phoenix. I believe they showed the actual performance where Ali was in attendance. This was in Boston.
