Okay so here's a thing right In her first audition, Simon told her that she's got to come in looking like a star. Now, in her second audition she tried something different (with the makeup and the dress and the asking for a microphone), and everyone mistakes her for being a diva and being unlikeable. (Honestly, I didn't like her attitude in the first audition after she sang her first song. However, after she sang her second song and spoke about her connection with it was when I kind of liked her) Personally, I like the dress but I just don't think it was a good choice for this audition. However, she wasn't a professional back then and choice of clothing should hardly be considered. She's extremely talented. I think she can work really hard on her voice since it sounded a little shakey in some places, nonetheless, she has a unique voice :)) I'm literally amazed by her songwriting skills I heard this song in the season 5 finale of the vampire diaries and I was in tears. It made the scene so much more emotional and heartfelt. Well done Raign. I'm proud of you :) PS: I really didn't like her 3rd audition at all She could've done way way way better (just saying)

Recently I found out that a lot of people in my home town thought I was snobby and thought, that I thought I was "better" Then everyone else, they thought that was the reason I didn't talk much. I'm 24 and I was talking to an old friend at a bar, when he brought that up, I said "no I'm actually very shy, I also have anxiety as well as depression so I shut myself out and shut ppl out"... group of people next to us overheard my conversation, And said "wow I thought you were just snobby, when you were graduating (mind you I graduated in 2012) you looked so snobby like you thought everyone was dirt and I said, why is this girl even here she doesnt even want to be here"... after he said that it kind of hurt... because graduation was one of my happier memories (The fact that this is a happy memory and someone's outside perspective on it was awful, well it just made me feel outcasted again)... anyway I've always been an outsider... so I get where you're coming from.
She has a unique voice and we are not used to hearing a voice like hers. Her voice is very deep and low. We are used to hearing so many soprano voices that sound similar that whenever we hear a different voice, we automatically think someone's voice isnt good. She just has a unique voice that we need to open up to.

Okay so here's a thing right
In her first audition, Simon told her that she's got to come in looking like a star.
Now, in her second audition she tried something different (with the makeup and the dress and the asking for a microphone), and everyone mistakes her for being a diva and being unlikeable. (Honestly, I didn't like her attitude in the first audition after she sang her first song. However, after she sang her second song and spoke about her connection with it was when I kind of liked her)
Personally, I like the dress but I just don't think it was a good choice for this audition.
However, she wasn't a professional back then and choice of clothing should hardly be considered.
She's extremely talented. I think she can work really hard on her voice since it sounded a little shakey in some places, nonetheless, she has a unique voice :))

I never knew who Cheryl was. Now I know who Raign is. Strong attitude aside, she's not a rude person. Opinionated yes! But that's because she's passionate about her music. I get what you're saying, I'm also unlikable and I am nice and friendly. I tend to stay quiet and keep to myself. Recently I found out that a lot of people in my home town thought I was snobby and thought, that I thought I was "better" Then everyone else, they thought that was the reason I didn't talk much. I'm 24 and I was talking to an old friend at a bar, when he brought that up, I said "no I'm actually very shy, I also have anxiety as well as depression so I shut myself out and shut ppl out"... group of people next to us overheard my conversation, And said "wow I thought you were just snobby, when you were graduating (mind you I graduated in 2012) you looked so snobby like you thought everyone was dirt and I said, why is this girl even here she doesnt even want to be here"... after he said that it kind of hurt... because graduation was one of my happier memories (The fact that this is a happy memory and someone's outside perspective on it was awful, well it just made me feel outcasted again)... anyway I've always been an outsider... so I get where you're coming from.

She has a unique voice and we are not used to hearing a voice like hers. Her voice is very deep and low. We are used to hearing so many soprano voices that sound similar that whenever we hear a different voice, we automatically think someone's voice isnt good. She just has a unique voice that we need to open up to.
