    Some engines like mc-c engines have rpm x 60 strokes, per hour, when measures on the counter. How them does lcd give extra feed if the nk. of strokes have already reached one per revolution.

    What is the role of accumulator? How actuating piston is getting actuated with solenoid valve as it is not clear from the diagram

    • @JohnPaul-fc7lu
      @JohnPaul-fc7lu 20 วันที่ผ่านมา

      due to 45 bar acting on the line the piston gets actuated

    Hi chief. I just starting my studying in marine academy and I a little bit doubt why we use more lubrication oil at low load of engine and less quantities of it at high load. Could you, please, explain it more properly? Thanks in regards!!!

    • @nightryder9949
      @nightryder9949 ปีที่แล้ว

      We don't use more lub oil or less lub oil, in alpha lubricator there will be fixed quantity of lub oil in the injected one every 2 to 3 rev between 1 and 2 rings according to the feed rate setting. In load depend it will alters acoording to the setting Adaptive alpha lub

      In normal scenerio amount of lubricant use in 24 hr period for 6S50MAN B&W MC engine is around 120-140liter ....
      When running full ahead at sea.

    I think at low rpm the actuation will be less

  • @ekansh1156
    @ekansh1156 3 ปีที่แล้ว

    Whenever we require to adjust the feed rate by increasing and decreasing by mop panel then how the feed rate will increase if you are saying we can't increase or decrease the feed rate. Why the Manual adjustment is provided on the mop and actually we are doing it, if we can not adjust it and the feed rate is load dependent..I think something is wrong or please explain it?

    • @vishnuvinod1718
      @vishnuvinod1718 2 ปีที่แล้ว

      it will only alter the frequency of lubrication.

    • @nightryder9949
      @nightryder9949 ปีที่แล้ว

      We can adjust in mop for every unit. During lower rpm we can see the lcd display still don't show the bar graph, when it reaches the higher rpm u can see all the unit bar graph is full upto the feed rate setting.

    If 45 bar pressure is on both sides, how is the actuating piston moving. Moreover, the spring is also resisting the compressive motion of the actuating piston. Please explain.

    • @psychokoala2099
      @psychokoala2099 3 หลายเดือนก่อน

      Nevermind, got it. It's due to the difference in area between both sides of the piston.
