  • Honey baklava
    Calculation for 24 pieces
    Dough:
    100 ml milk (3.3 fl.oz)
    100 g butter (3.6 oz, 82% fat)
    100 g eggs (2 eggs)
    450 g flour (1 lb)
    1 g salt (pinch)

    oil (for frying)
    Make baklava:
    Melt butter, mix with milk, add eggs. Stir to mix.
    ✅ Add salt, flour. Knead up dough.
    ✅ Wrap in cling film and leave for 30 minutes at room temperature.
    ✅ Divide the dough into two parts, roll out. Set aside for 30 minutes to let the dough air out.
    ✅ Then we make baklava-shaped pastry by following the instructions in the video.
    ✅ Fry in refined oil.
    ✅ After frying we leave the pastry on a paper towel to remove the oil.
    🍯Honey syrup:
    150 g honey (1/3 lb)
    300 ml water (10 fl.oz)
    300 g sugar (2/3 lb)
    100 g roasted nuts (3.6 oz)
    🍯 Prepare the syrup for the soaking:
    ✅Pre-roast the nuts in the oven at 340F, 10-15 minutes.
    ✅ In a saucepan send water, sugar and honey. Put the syrup on the fire and heat until the sugar dissolves.
    ✅ Take the syrup off the fire, pour it over and dip the baklava in it.
    ✅ Sprinkle over the roasted, crushed walnuts.
