07:40 I recognize her from one of the best clinic storylines from House. 😃 I'm delighted she's still with us and I hope she sticks around exactly as long as she wants to. ❤

Clark made the Marvel movies, imo.

I know this is a very serious subject, but it’s so funny to hear him say that, when you remember Coulson’s ultimate fate.

I feel like the writer/actor strike was like charismatic megafauna for the cause of unionization. It also helped highlight once against that people as a whole actively hate the suits and want artists to be able to create.
AI is such a bad thing because I'm confident that companies have been using AI for awhile now, and they don't want to admit it because it keeps flopping so hard. You'll never convince me that all the writing on Secret Invasion was human, I'd bet a dollar that they admitted AI was used on the opening because the opening was so obviously bad they knew it wouldn't pass muster, but they had their fingers crossed that the AI could make a show. The suits get so hard when they think about an era when they not only do not have to pay artists, they get to dictate what art is made (and thus consumed by the masses). Just like the machines that made shitty cloth out competed the skilled workers that made good cloth, AI isn't about making a better product, it's explicitly about making a worse product that serves the interests of those who cannot personally create (because they've sold their soul for money).

I think I prefer Chris Hemsworth, but I probably enjoyed the first Captain America more than the first Thor movie. The 2nd Thor movie was WAY better than the 2nd Captain America movie, ymmv obviously since I am the only true believer I suspect, The Dark World was a great movie that cemented Thor as the best of the Avengers, Thor 3 just reinforced the greatness of the character (I liked dynamics of Thor with a bunch of humans helping him out). I also liked Thor 4, at least they gave Jane Foster a bit of a sendoff? She got to be pretty cool, but that movie just falls apart when you get to the Shadow World and the villain seizes everyone and he proceeds to yammer off (and is the biggest ham in Marvel cinematic history while doing it) for an ungodly several minutes, it's a soliloquy, and it literally kills every vibe the movie had been nurturing carefully, it's like watching someone try to drive a big fancy monster truck through a bog, and they get a few feet in before they just start to sink. That was that soliloquy scene, iirc it was almost 5% of the movie's actual screen time (not counting credits). I will admit Thor just giving every one of the kids Thor-Power was frankly bonkers and was immersion breaking to an unpleasant degree (but I mean kids killing bad guys is kind of cool on some weird level, right? Right?), it felt a lot like 'why didn't he just bring a bunch of adults with him and give all of them the power and just kick the ever-loving crap out of the bad guy??
I am still furious that Disney waited until Black Widow was killed off before they released her movie, and the movie was actively good (even my Dad, who hates Marvel movies as a rule, could watch it and enjoy it), but the God Butcher waxing unpoetically for multiple minutes is enough to kill any movie IMHO.

Its surprising that with talking about A.I. and Clark's Marvel roles, they don't mention that Coulson was an A.I. in the last season of Agents of Shield.

The movie he's describing sounds a lot like the book Mrs. Plansky's Revenge. It's funny & very satisfying!

Okay, maybe this is just me. But Clark Greg's voice sounds exactly like Jamie Raskin... I was listening in the car and was struck by the resemblance 😄
