Welcome to the world of Wagakki Band. Wagakki Band Is an 8-piece band started by pianist, poet, composer and Shigin singer Yuko Suzuhana in 2012, officially in 2013. What you saw here was Homura (flame), a Machiya instrumental, a song the guitarist Machiya brought with him from previous projects. Akatsuki no ito (thread of dawn) also a song by Machiya (who also listens to Slipknot). The song is very important to WGB since the audience uses it as an encore chant. They have released 7 studio albums, so you have 100+ songs to play with. Wagakki Band is highly professional in everything they do. They quickly became popular and are today an arena band that fills large arenas all over Japan. Particularly famous for its Daishinenkai concerts (New Year's concert). Wagakki Band is one of the most popular bands from Japan and one of my personal favorites ! I love the mix of traditional Japanese instruments and electric guitars ! Stick with this group they are wonderful ! I would suggest "Guernica" Japan Tour 2020 Tokyo Singing =)

They mix traditional singing/instruments primarily with modern rock and a bit of metal, but also other genres depending on the song. I think a lot of people discovered Wagakki Band through this song and I would link the music video because it's so well made. ２０１６年の初全国ライブの日比谷最終会の映像ですね。三味線のベニ嬢は、この楽曲は、三味線演奏の限界だと言ってましたね。現在は、高速演奏に沿ってピックも使用してます。和楽器は、洋楽器と音律も違う為、三味線も７～８本、尺八も相当な本数をライブで使用してます。琴も２～３筝使用し、常にライブ中にも律調してます。亦、このバンドでは、和楽器の音が弱い為、洋楽器より和楽器の周波数を１HZ上げてるそうです。
