Jason or Sonny gave Michael their ELQ stock. This is the beginning of their friendship. Jason has always been super sensitive about Sonny. What I didnt realize back then was that Jason used that knowledge as a Quartermaine to suggest that Sonny buy his stock in ELQ. Jason was good as Sonny's equal because he's a Quartermaine.
Jason gave Sonny his ELQ stock because he didn't want it. Also Jason did that so Sonny can keep his house just so the IRS couldn't take Sonny's house away from him. Yeah that's all.
I was expecting much more comments on this interaction between Sonny and Jason....they would of seen how strongly Jason felt for Sonny as a friend and why he stuck with him.....but i know why....it was easier to blame Sonny.
And a lot of people keep forgetting that....the Q's were the most deceitful bunch of people....it was easier to say that Sonny stole rather than to say Jason has a mind of his own and what he want.
What sense does it make to try to scare him away when you know damn well he has no sense of fear nothing scares him. Fear got knocked outta his head when he cracked his shit..LBS

See Sonny tried to tell him to leave and Jason wouldn't. The Q's blamed Sonny for Jason never coming back home and taking advantage of him and his brain damage but Jason CHOSE to stay. Alan, Monica and the rest just wanted to see it as Sonny's fault but this scene proved differently.
