- this is the gi joe classified cobra Commander I picked up from aliexpress so the big question is........real or fake is it a ko bootleg or the real deal in a busted box at a good price ?!?
I do like this figure what ever it is. as I said I wasn't interested in the first few waves of classified figures. I liked the figures but the weapons........were bad !!
but I am collecting them know because they got so much better and when I saw this cobra Commander at a nice price.......why not !!

More KO reviews this was actually a great vid. I wonder if the factories in China are actually producing more figures than American toy companies order then selling off the surplus for a profit?
I think some of these figures are over production that they sell off in China. If someone orders say 1000 figures some will be "faulty stock" so if they lose 100 out of the 1000 they will produce 1100 just in case. The faulty stock gets sold and the over stock too
The KO means knock off so it is not genuine but it also seems worth a punt as it is reasonable quality. Hope they make more.
I think they could be real there are lots of Joe figures on aliexpress at the moment !!

There are 3 variants I can find of the classified cobra commander figure. There's the regal variant which is the one you have, there's a snake supreme cobra commander & there's a regular version. Not really up on my GIJoe stuff I'm afraid but I do think all 3 look cool & i love the Cobra Commander helmet design. Great review Rocketman. Cheers 🚀👍.
They seemed to have used this mold quite a few times with different color schemes. I am a fan of the Joe's the comics were top of my list at one time. They do a life-size cobra Commander helmet.........I want one

@@Returnoftherocketman I remember Cobra Commander looking waaaay cooler in the second GIJoe movie.
Its been a while since I watched that movie I think he looked more like the action figure in that second movie
I had this and sold it, it’s real. This was an exclusive for some stupid app but there was a big fiasco over it so hasbro did a limited amount for sale. I got rid of all mine and grabbed 2 of the super 7 ones to go in my display
Thank you. I have to say its not a bad cobra Commander for the price but its not quite right I'm glad they changed track with the newer figures and stuck to the original look for them
This Cobra Commander has some different paint apps to the one I’ve got. Yours has a lot more gold on it. And the blue looks a lighter colour. But I think they did a few different versions? Kapow have a few of the older Classified figs. Some are about £11-12 each. Some are on big retro cards. Like the Black series does..
There seems to be a lot of versions of these early Joe classified figures !!
I have quite a few of those figures on my to get list at Kapow toys I think bazooka is going to be a perches soon !!

Well that's a hard to find cobra commander sometimes ali express gets surplus stuff and it's a win or damaged stuff
I think like you say its a surplus or damaged stock figure. It great to have in my collection
