@@JordanandEmily, you have to come back to Toronto during the summer months to see the dog fountain (1:45) in operation. We also have great places to eat and shop at like Kensington Market (right near Chinatown), various restaurants, shopping malls like Yorkdale and the Toronto Eaton Center, a world-famous zoo, an art gallery, a general museum, a science center with great science exhibts, a park similar to Hyde Park and Central Park, great clothing, music retail, and book stores, and a decent nightlife centered around Ossington Avenue (beginning at the corner of Dundas and Ossington and then further south down Ossington to Ossington and Queen) and on King Street (beginning at King and Spadina and then continuing west up to King and Bathurst), some great specialty stores, two Chinatowns (one on Spadina Avenue starting at Spadina and College going south and ending at Spadina and Dundas [and also east and west on Dundas going east on Dundas up to the Art Gallery Of Ontario], the other on Carlton Street beginning at Carlton and Broadview and then ending near Carlton & Pape) a district called Little India further east on Carlton Street with Indian shops and boutiques, an amusement paark called Canada's Wonderland, an annual fair (with a lot of rides) called the CNE (Canadian National Exhibtion), Casa Loma (the only castle in all of North America, built by a wealthy financier), and....well, that's all I've got.

Toronto looks like a nice city. Kieran did good with his recommendations. It’s a shame you didn’t have more time but at least you got to see a fair bit. The bar looked amazing, loved the dog fountain, it’s a shame it wasn’t working. Stay safe, miss you both, love you, mum.xx 💕💕

@juliannedean537, the dog fountain only works in spring and summer, not in winter (or whenever this was filmed.)

Great whistlestop tour of Toronto. The cost of going up the CN Tower is outrageous, I was there back in 1989 and don't remember it being expensive then, forget how much it was though. Scary going up in the glass-floor lifts, but the views were spectacular, didn't see Niagara Falls though. The burgers looked delicious, good recommendation from Kieran, just a shame about the grumpy service. I hope the journey to New York wasn't too tortuous.

I wish I'd seen this video when you posted it, because i would've recommended you grab a toque for like $2-$3 at a Dollarama. They're on practically every corner in Toronto.

Hi Jordan and Emily, I never heard of that famous fountain and looked it up on Wikipedia. Just FYI, the Berczy Park fountain has 27 dog statues and only 1 cat. Emily was counting right with only 1 cat. That bird was sure interested in your camera. It seems like it was enjoying their screen time. That Graffiti Alley was really neat to see on this video. It is amazing the time people put into creating it. The Flat Iron building was very unique looking and I wonder what they use it for being a not very usable shape. Hope the 2 of you survived the 10 hour bus ride into New York ok without too much craziness.

1:45-@Jordan and Emily, the dog fountain is only operational during the spring and summer months (mainly during the warm portion of spring leading into summer.) If you want to see more of Toronto, and see the dog fountain in operation (it's quite a sight to see when the water's flowing from it), you have to visit Toronto in mid-to-late June/early July.

@Jordan and Emily, _if_ the two of you had actually planned it, you both could've take a Porter Airlines flight from Billy Bishop airport to NYC and spared yourselves the 12 hour bus ride to NYC.

    • @JordanandEmily

@@JordanandEmily, okay, I can understand that, good to see that it was on Flixbus and not Greyhound-there can be a lot of sketchy characters riding on Greyhound buses, some of them mentally ill ones. And some of the Greyhound buses _aren't_ in tip top shape.
