Sir, My father is now 75 years of age. And he got femur fractured in 2010 and had femur surgery with rod inside his femur bone. Now his knee cartilage wears away and he suggested with knee replacement. Now the issue is he has femur rod inside and nail in knee with that femur rod. Kindly suggest me what to do ? Can it be possible to remove femur rod and at the same time make knee replacement ? Or is there any option of knee replacement without removing femur rod and nail ? Kindly guide me with your experience and knowledge. Thanks.
