All British fans are tash. They are only loud if they score or win
Yes in this video you could hear the Rangers fans making good noise but Frankfurt was much louder indeed. In Bundesliga they have more experience of coordinating their chants and choreographies so that 10.000-15.000 Frankfurters can be more impressive than 20.000-25.000 Rangers as the Rangers fans managed to get more of the tickets sold beyond the official club reserved tickets. Sevilla stadium is very beautiful and I like roofless Spanish stadiums at a spring evening but a match with two giant fan bases with over hundreds of thousands of ticket requests the stadium is too small.
Any teams fans are better than Rangers fans tbh

Englische Fans brauchen auch Spielfluss, um darauf dann zu singen. Haben sie den nicht, bleiben sie stumm. Es waren auch mehr als 35% Frankfurt Fans im Stadion, allerdings waren nur 30% auf einem Eck und der Rest verteilt.

your fans were allowed to bring pyrotechnics in- we weren’t for some very odd reason. tickets were taken by a lot of those who haven’t even been to ibrox in years. if the majority of the union bears who follow the lads week in week out went, as well as the usual following support, we would’ve been a match to your support.

@@tailung9841 As a German I would say that British fans have the potential of being just as loud and creative as German fans but as the motherland of football turned into a money league with restrictive laws against fans (expensive tickets, no stands, no flags, people who watch that you keep sitting most of the game...) the english and scottish fan culture is not what it used to be back in the days. I'm afraid that this will never come back. Its more likely that German football will turn towards the English model so that they can keep up on the long run.

I watched it on TV and only heard the rangers fans after the goal, as compared to hearing Frankfurt frequently and loudly all game long. I get that you were supporting rangers but the “best fans in the world” comments were not appropriate. Rangers fans seemed numbed by the weight of the game as did their players.

Both sides made it one of the most memorable final games for an European Cup. And Sevilla full of fans.

This season. Frankfurt finished 11th in the league. Sold they top goalscorer André Silva to RB Leipzig who scored 28 league goals last season and replaced him with Rafael Santos Borre on a free who scored 8 league goals. But scored 4 in the Europa League against
Olympiacos, Barcelona, West Ham and Rangers and scored the winner penalty.
Eintracht need to take some of the money they made and buy a top class goal-getter. Kamada is just a lazy waste of space, imo.

The cameras and press were at the Frankfurt end they had access to water and drinks the Rangers fans had none the Rangers fans FIFO was confiscated even although the Frankfurt one was of the same materials I was there we had no water before or during the game in sweltering heat.

I very highly doubt that you would occupy the same philosophy had Frankfurt lost. 2nd place is not where anyone who wants to win desires to be, and the moment you become comfortable or happy with that result, you lose the inspiration that pushes you to go further.
Name me a team or competitor in the history of sports that has ever excelled by being comfortable with 2nd or any position other than 1st. Every single team that lost out will come back with a chip on the shoulder, as they should. If rangers don't do the same even though they came 2nd, they will undoubtedly regress from the place they finished this time. If Rangers or any team wants to win, they can't be happy with being anywhere but 1st, no matter how impressive the result is considering their performance history.
Rangers did better than expected, and they may never be in that position for a long time. But it's more important to want more even if its unrealistic than to celebrate what was ultimately a loss.

The fact that the failure of 1 player in penalties can be the difference between winning and losing is exactly the point. You can't blame the other 4 guys who took perfect penalties.

The referee didn't had a clear line. And I agree, that you could give a red card for this, because it was just too much.
The ref was very lenient whole game. It's good that he let the game flow and wasn't blowing his whistle every 5 secs for trivial offences and disrupting and spoiling the game as many refs do in finals. But he was excessively soft! I think a player could have taken out a gun and shot an opponent dead and the ref would still have been like "nothing wrong with that, play carries on, no card!" 😂😂

That went back to the semi-final in 1960 which was one of the greatest moments in the history of Eintracht Frankfurt.

Its great so see clips from the Rangers side here in Germany. So much respect for the Rangers effort, in the end they would have deserved it just as much! And everyone I've talked to here sees it that way, especially Frankfurt fans. The Rangers extreme defending skills and fast counter attacks have been absolutely thrilling to watch.

All my respect goes out to the rangers fans. The passion they showed was truly heartwarming. Two teams with long tradition played and one of them won. It was a great game by both teams and lucky that we went out as a winner. All my greetings from Frankfurt and keep it up👍🏼

Lundstrum deserved a yellow but you can't really suggest he intentionally kicked up at rode's head and it was not an example of a red card offence (intentionally dangerous play) but it was concerning to see the challenge at the time.
Okay, there should have been a penalty. That's the referee for you, and to be honest, a couple of frankfurt players deserved yellow cards for repeated fouls but didn't get handed one.

Lundstrum is notorious for being a dirty player, he communicated minimum 4 yellow card offences against Celtic in the semi final a few weeks ago, so would put it past him for him to do something like that intentionally
And fair enough you’ve acknowledged the pen, but a penalty to Frankfurt is a much bigger deal than a few yellow cards for other fouls, but yeah ur right referees nowadays are horrifically incompetent

It was carzy i was in Frankfurt to watch it in the stadium and the atmosphere was unbelivable. during the penalty i thought i would pass out my heart was pumping so fast my hands felt numb. It was a great game
