  • Drifting bmw e36 M3 in Assetto Corsa. I'm using Fanatec CSl Elite steering wheel and real head motion mod.

    Nice drive. I see you are now using some Fanatec equipment. I saw you used to have a Thrusmaster T300\. Do you find it ok for a starter wheel, or maybe the popular Logitech one? I know Fanatec is superior by far, but I don't want to spend that much at the beginning.

      Hi. I would say go with Thrustmaster instead of Logitech. It is good for a starter

      get the t300 if you're interested in drifting. the rotation speed of the Logitech makes drifting an uphill battle, but the FFB is more than good enough for driving and racing, it's just drifting is where the logitech has an objective shortcoming compared to the t300 and other higher end wheels. you can still drift on the logitech, but you cant flick the wheel when transitioning corners like you can in this video. and you have to put a lot more effort in whilst using a technique that isn't as transferable to a real car.
