To be honest I shoot video of trains because I can't think of anything else that cool that I can stand that close to or even ride. Trains also represent progress and work and energy which are themes that run around inside my melon a lot.
Great video thanks. Could you answer a couple of questions please... Can you keep loops running and change inputs from line in to microphone and if so could the input change be used to mute the microphone? Does the line input/microphone work with the binaural beats section? How do the songs used on the elements interact with sound inputed from the microphone or line in? Is there a way to turn the songs off and use them as tunings like version 1? Is it possible to adjust the tempo like version 1? Thanks.
Hi, glad you like it! I'm not sure I can answer your questions, especially the ones referring to version 1, since I never saw one of those, and in any case I made this over a year ago and can barely remember what I did this morning. There is a button combo to switch between internal mic and line in, but it's not quick. As for binaural beats, I don't think I messed with those. I was mainly using the unit as an effects box. IIRC I recorded the sequence with delay onto one track and then recorded the Volca Keys through the Glo onto another track, twisting it with my hand to manipulate the effect. I recorded a third track playing the melody by hand, and maybe one or two more tracks with extra fills or sound effects and the pads. It's hard to remember. I have used the Glo at live shows in realtime with some success since then, though.
@@RCAvhstape many thanks for trawling your mind to find some answers. How are you using it for live shows (aux send etc). Do you use it as a wash out fx between tracks or is the music more sound design than music? The lack of tempo/timing control makes it seem awkward to intergrate. Thanks again.
Great trip.
@@PrimitiveInTheExtreme Thanks
Very cool, love that synth sound!
👍👍👍
Is there a train or sequencer you don't love? I get this vibe all the way.

@@rhodes1232 I just use the delay effect as a sound effect mostly, running one synth through it and twisting it to make trippy sounds.
Many thanks for sharing your insight and creativity.
