The curry should go with the noodle like a noodle soup or you can just have it with baguette. The beef stick normally would be serve with pickle vegetable and is amazing as a baguette filling! 😊

Actually the sauce with the veggies are for the fried/grilled fish. For the beef lok lak, the sauce that goes with it should be a lime, salt and black pepper dipping sauce. And usually the beef sticks usually/should come with pickle carrots and daikons/papaya.
I love all the Khmer dishes you tried, but we have more delicious dishes for you to try, such as fish amok, somlaw machu kreung, somlaw kawko, etc…and etc…and don’t forget our delicious deserts too. You should have another video on just khmer deserts. thank you for putting Cambodian food on the map!
Some of my favorite Khmer dish. Grilled or deep fried meat are typically washed down or eaten with mango/papaya salad or pickled food. You can drastically change the profile of the curry or nohm-bahn-chok by squeezing lots of lime and sprinkle salt or fish sauce - half of the time, I like mine like that.
Cambodian food really healthy and diet food as well If you are really want to loose weight, Cambodian food is your first choice. Love Khmer food and Khmer culture, respectively and honestly ❤❤❤❤❤
There is a really good book called "First They Killed My Father" by Loung Ung. It is about her and her family's first hand experience of living through the khmer rouge regime. It is really emotional, but really highly recommend it. If you decide to read it, I recommend reading "Lucky Child", right after. She writes about her experience of being a refugee.

So many of these dishes are like our home so I’m happy to see you both tried them. A lot of these dishes too are very Khmer-centric in the way that you can’t find them in the surrounding countries. Curry Chicken is normally eaten with the Cambodian Rice Noodle or baguettes. The way to eat it with rice noodle is the same as u were eating Khmer noodle (Green soup) with all those veggies and a hint of lemon squeezed.
You did great with pronouncing the words, I understood everything you said! What's disappointing is that I don't think they gave you all the right accompaniment to the food, they forgot rice and pickled salad to go with the beef sticks
prahok ktis is one of my favorite cambodian food. it's one of khmer original, authentic and real dish. it's not copied from other countries. the beef on the stick is also my favorite, too. it's one of khmer oringinal dish with kroueng paste.
You nailed the pronunciation.Most of these food taste so so much better if they still warmed. Sach ko Ang,usually comes with papaya pickled and toasted baguette w/ butter. Sach ko lok lak also better with rice and you mix and eat it like bibimbap.

Also for the curry, it is normally eaten with either the rice or rice noodles like you did or dip it with a French baguette as well.
