Might be controversial but Handsome Jack. Literally one of the best villains in gaming, and you get to the end and he's a few clones and stands by a terminal most of the fight making crits a cakewalk. There should have been a little bit more to it I think.
QOTD: definitely the destroyer. I’ve run out of ammo fighting that bullet sponge far too many times, and you don’t even get anything for killing it until the remaster
QOTD: Tyreen from 3. On top of being a more boring bossfight than her brother somehow, she also makes for the most narratively disappointing boss in the entire series. The whole game we have been warned that the thing in the great vault is capable of devouring entire stars and after it merges with her its like 20 feet tall. Staring at master Gee in an acid pool before i knew of door squish was peak entertainment for me such as the wonderful classic british film, Paint Drying 😐
This whole crafting mod could become a character idea for the next borderland games. It's an extremely unique idea. They probably should make it so crafted guns can only be used by the character. The character could be entirely reliant on crafting and guns for their builds and not on kill skills or stacking.
I doubt that Gearbox listens :/ Back then when Joltz was doing bl2 runs and it was quite clear what the community loved Gearbox showed with BL3 that they dont care for the community. BL2 seems to be very unique in the way its now a community game, full of mods.
I love this mod because I feels like you go full bandit, scavenging every thing, making new guns. It was always my head cannon that bandit guns were just ripped up old ones
QOTD: probably the gigamind from borderlands 3. Its super weak, comes out of nowhere(but in a bad way) and has very little significance + the drops also arent that exciting
This mod is insane, Im not that big of an expert on parts, I just know a couple things about them, for some reason I was able to transfer a fire element on the bonus package and for some reason it transformed into a way better fireball with huge splash but without the multiple nades from the bonus package. This mod is hella fun and it seems amazing to play around with. Seems like something you can play for hundreds of hours and not get tired since you might change anything strong from certain weapons or items and salvage it into other weapons/items :)
Including DLC story, I'd say Jackenstein is up there. At least after the story kill you get to watch Nakayama roll a nat 1 for going down the holoramp.
Great mod! Might give it a try someday. I got an offtopic tho... Dont know if anyone discovered (found it last nigth on my own) that, but on the "This Just Mission", if you throw a singularity grenade like you usually do to pull the guy down instead taking the elevator up and kill himm you can THEN still take the elavator up, there is another NPC to be killed for the Bee shield. Make your save file read only before killing him and you got 2 NPC's to farm which shortens the farm for the shield. Already tested it and they both drop the Bee, in fact i had double drop while testing. Its an amazing glitch, hope that you show it in a video one day(my videos arent great quality...) Have fun farmin !
For story boss i have to go with the flying boss that's name is letter vommit in the presequel. They NEVER land, annoying adds that get stronger if you ignore them, its outside so you constantly have to watch your oxygen. Its just a miserable fight.
Just wanted to say that because of you and killersix playtroughs, i've bought and started playing bl2 this week. I'm having a blast, still no idea what parts belong to which manufacturer so im just testing them as i go. Should have gotten it sooner. Cheers mate.
QOTD: def the Destroyer. At the end of the day, it’s the only boss in the franchise I had no fun fighting. Honorable mention to Jackenstein. Don’t even get to drain a health bar, you’re essentially shooting wheels on a car til they blow up.
Qotd: Katagawa Ball. Sure it hits hard but a boss with TWO weaknesses is basically made to be melted. I actually got stuck on him for my very first playthrough and now I almost beat him by accident.
QOTD: Honestly, it has to be the second boss you fight, Mouthpiece in bl3. The immune phases really dragged out the fight, especially on tvhm and story resets. I think other bosses in that game had similar issues but mouthpiece is the really the only boss that really comes to mind.
QOTD: Mad Mel from BL1. A car fight where the game’s cars are not balanced to handle the action. You’re left running around after your car blows up after 5 seconds and will eventually just resort to cheese strats.
With some added restrictions like not being able to salvage bodies or barrels (and maybe elements too because that kinda removes the point of jakobs/torgue existing) I could see this being a base game feature
I think this mod is the way they could make extremely rare items fun to farm for bl4 while making drop rates just as if not more rare then bl2. It would be extremely fun and I'm sure they could add a work bench for it with Markus in sanctuary for eridium to balance it a bit
