you will test a thousand times, discover a thousand small differences, until you realize that differences in iQ are insignificant in everyday life. On the other hand, you will find that the usability and practicality is enormous! Small technical details make all the difference in use. OM Cameras for example never need to have the sensors clean, which is amazing. My FF Cameras stays at home most of the time. Right now I’m using the OM-1 (+ 300mmf4) for stills and the GH6 (+ Leica 100-400mm) for video all the time. The GX80 (or em5iii) + 75-300mm is always with me when I’m climbing.
The GH6's advantages greatly outweigh its disadvantages. Its IQ is comparable to the C70 and other cine cameras, has the features/functionality of a cine camera (i.e waveform, vectorscope, shutter angle, true anamorphic support) and allows you to adapt a lot of lenses. Kasey or anyone else, name me a camera with all of that at this price point?
The functionality is amazing but I completely disagree with iq coming close to c70. The image might be comparable in good light but the moment the light goes down even moderate amount GH 6 is going to fall apart. That makes it reasonable at that price point, not a steal.
@@kapilesh14 The C70 is over 5.5k and the GH6 is 2.1k. The GH6 offers arguably, 80% of the IQ of the C70 at more than half the cost. Again, it has most of the same functionality of the C70. The C70 has mini XLR's and lovely internal ND (I love that feature), but the GH6 makes a case for a lot small film makers.
@@sliceofmymindI own sony a7Siii. Despite the fact that it has the same sensor as fx 6, I don't think a7Siii has even 70% of the iq of fx 6. You pay the price for the kind of quality you require. Fx 6 controls the image from that sensor in a far better manner than a small body of a7Siii can ever manage. The 20% difference that you mention between gh6 and c70 in reality is like 40%. That difference is worth the price you pay. Even if I accept your point of iq similarity for a second that dgo sensor in c70 is whole another level of technology. Also, you have to remember that c70 has same sensor as c300 mii. The smaller camera bodies have definitely improved budget conscious consumers video capabilities for sure but those big heavy cinema cameras exist for a reason.
@Seeyou Seemee No, I view IQ from the capabilities of shooting smoothly in all situations. Cine cameras are built to shoot smoothly in both the brightest sunlights and the very low light situations. Inbuilt Nd filters and dgo sensors does it for me.
I am an avid birder and I use the GH6, you really cant go wrong with either of these, but personally I prefer the GH6. Its actually not as heavy as I have seen some people complain about. I would say its more of a bulky than heavy, but nothing anyone that is out taking nature images cant manage. It basically comes down to your personal priority and what you will use it for.
Great to see you back on MFT. I own a bunch of MFT and FF cameras and the GH6 is the most fun of them all. It's an enjoyable camera to use, as you know. Just a tip, I usually run the sharpness up +2 or +3 on the GH6 (in normal PP) and it's close to the same sharpness of the A7SIII (depending don't the lenses etc). Both look great, either way. Great stuff, man! 📸
Hey, I love your channel man!!! I agree that sharpness settings can depend on the lens (and I've actually made an entire website with what I call "lens-sensor specific settings" for those I've been testing)!
@@CanuckQuest I tried to leave a link but it gets blocked (my guess is spammers have made it so TH-cam can't allow people to lost links much). It's too bad, as it makes TH-cam into less of a knowledge-sharing place, and more of just a "say something without proving it" sort of comments forum, etc.
Thanks for the video man, I really enjoy your videos, both for the sincere opinions. I think one think you should consider is that the separation of the background is also coming from the compression, and even a 200mm on a MTF camera has a field of view of 400mm it does not have the compression of a 400mm on a full frame, that's were the extra comes from I think. anyway thanks for the video and keep it up!
" Pulsing in the twig Tohen " They were my favorite alternative band in the early 90s! Awesome comparison! between the Sony and the Panasonic, I like the colour on the Panasonic. It looks more natural, but Sony does have the sharpness., Though I like a more filmic look! Always interesting and fun content!
in terms of toneh equivalence, I think a simpler way of thinking about it is that the M4/3 image is exactly what you'd get with the same focal length & aperture combo on full frame, just cropped in 2x. so the increased toneh you're getting on FF is more as a result of being zoomed in further and effectively being closer to the subject.
@Seeyou Seemee When we're talking "light gathering" or depth-of-field, there are equivalent lenses. You need an MFT lens that is 2 stops faster than the FF lens. Like an MFT F1.2 lens is "equivalent" to a FF F1.8 lens. Of course if you have an F1.2 FF lens, it'll be very hard/impossible to find an equivalent MFT lens, but for any FF lens of F1.4 or higher (and esp F1.8 or higher), an "equivalent" MFT lens can be found. And since a FF camera typically has about 2 stops better noise performance, then by using a 2 stops faster MFT lens, the lenses are "equalized" not only for depth-of-field, but also for noise performance.
@@Bill-NM It's important to be very clear on what "light gathering" means. Ignoring transmission losses, a given f-stop results in the same _intensity_ of light - that is, the amount of light per unit area - for _any_ lens and sensor. FF's advantage comes from the larger sensor, which is why total light collected is higher. The distinction is important because crop sensor detractors will "double up" on their criticism by simultaneously saying "smaller sensor = bad" _and_ also suggesting that crop sensor lenses are "less bright" by mis-applying "equivalence", whereas those criticisms are fundamentally one and the same.
The slo mo is so close to my eyes. When you factor in the size difference of the steups, to me it's not close. You can actually bring the Panny setup with you anywhere in a sling bag even. I can't imagine lugging the full frame setup
Another great video. I have poor eyesight, but I have no problem with the GH6 EVF. Of coarse, I did need to remove my glasses and focus EVF to suit my visual needs. I trust this is not something you have inadvertently overlooked? The results I'm getting with the Panasonic Leica 200mm prime is meeting my expectations, but in all honesty I have not carried out the detailed tests that your video covers. That's something to look forward to once I become more competent at using all the features and functions over time. I transitioned from the Canon 1DX to MFT some years ago and I have not regretted the decision based on size, weight and costs. I fully appreciated just how difficult it is to reconcile the Pros & Cons of each system! 🐧
You need to revisit the 100-400mm Leica now you’re into wildlife and have a GH6. You’ll get twice as close remember. I think you tested a bad copy last time. The 100-300mm mkii is also worth a look. Buttery smooth rings and stabe!
Sony is better. So why do we give our love to the Panny? 1, Panny first love. 2, Panny feel in the hand is better. 3, Sony is the Empire. Panny is the Rebel Alliance. Now who doesn't watch Star Wars?
Appreciate all the brutally honest assessments of these cameras. The question is, are you going to miss the Fooj once firmware updates start fixing up some of the XH2 issues? Brilliant song regarding the Panasonic focus
the separation you talk about is most likely due to the higher compression of the sony with longer lens. yes, there is a way to tell a system to system equiv with crop factor, but there is simply no way to get the same "look". Now, is it that better, up to you :)
"Compression" is ALL about distance to subject (all else being equal or equivalent). So a FF with a 600 is very close to equivalent to the Leice 200 with the 1.4 TC (560mm) - so if the subject is the same size, meaning the distance to subject is the same, then the "compression" will be the same.
Hello! I think you need to try Collimator sight for filming birds. Then put the camera to shoulder rig, to make the setup resembling "photo sniper" setup. So you will not look into EVF or screen, but point camera as rifle. This will both keep your shots super-stable and your will be able to film them when they fly take off and fly, as you will be able to track them, not loose. That is what will get you closer to perfect camera.
8:44 - Devastating information about Focus Ring Control not working with the teleconverter lol. Was thinking I could get away with using the PL 50-200 and 1.4x and sell my PL 100-400 for video despite the end result being smaller light gathering ability than a 1 inch sensor. Definitely not going to get the teleconverter now but will still get the PL 50-200 and will keep my PL 100-400 due to the amazing reach. Teleconverters already have too many disadvantages, but one could argue that for video work, the price you pay "might" be worth it, but it's razor thin. With the loss of Focus Ring Control, that invalidates the teleconverter for me as an option. You just saved me some money :)
@@cameraconspiracies I didn't question you on the firmware as in a previous video you said you had to update the lenses for linear focusing. This sucks. Good work and keep the comparisons coming!
Haha, this is one of your best vids! Hilarious song! I think these results were to be expected and once you get into the high price range with micro 4/3 kits, you start to lose the whole value proposition and the only advantage left is size/weight and better stabilization.
I watched the video again zooming in on the images on mobile phone cause unable to use my laptop. The pulsing of Panasonic when it did manage to autofocus was especially bad because pulsing also creeped into our subjects head or body many times. When you zoom in you can experience the pulsing as like a water wave on the entire image even consuming the subject. All of these makes GH 6 only manual focus camera for me, I would personally never autofocus with it.
For a 'comedy' channel, this is a very usefully detailed and valid comparison video. For my money... The GH6 stabilisation beats the living daylights out of any minor disadvantages it has against the Sony. I'm all in on Canon nowadays but I miss my old GH5, and it sure would be nice to have GH6 with 10-25 Leica. We're all pennyless now though, so the only way I could get one is to sell my C70, and I'm not going to that. Great video this ...I can see a lot of work went into it. 👍
Love your videos equally funny, entertaining and educational. Love the side by side content. It would be bulky to carry, but imagine having a tripod sponsor provide a rig substantial enough to mount two cameras side by side so you could do simultaneous recording.
Exceptional video today. 👍 We completely appreciate the time and effort put in to show the true features between the 2 systems, and present extremely detailed examples of where your opinions actually come from. Kasey, if you are in another board meeting with the Panasonic Camera Executives and they discuss the pulsating auto focus, please give them this for me: 🖕
I came to search for a comparison between these two cameras and I was suggested this video. Great success! I wish I had came here to search for 10.000 dollars though.
LOL, you came here 3 minutes after the video was released as you were searching for a comparison of these particular cameras? I guess most of us don't even care about the actual gear in his videos, we are here for seeing the ducks trying to escape when he's trying to capture lens comparison pictures.
I see the dilemma: what's your use case for the Panasonic solution vs your existing Sony. The GH6 + 100-300 zoom (or the Olympus you already have) can serve as good enough travel option that you can bring with you because it's MUCH lighter. GH6 + the big prime is not as convincing as alternative
The reason the m43 has less separation than full frame is when people say 25mm is similar to 50mm in ff, what they're referring to is angle of view NOT similar in depth of field. 25mm will always have more depth of field (less separation) than a 50mm lens, every time.
This Leica produces much more pleasing backgroung blurr than Sony at least in 2:10. With this heron thid you use Apeture priority on Manual mode locking the lens wide open? Cause equivalency does not lie. With enter pupil, distance from the subject and distance from the background the same, blurr have to be the same. M43 200mm f2.8 once you crop it to 300mm is eqivalent to FF 600mm f8.4.
sellin my gh5, mainly cos i need 4:3 to be flexable shooting for all platforms, gh6 can shoot 4k 4:3 right? I want to film myself music performing for 2 hours straight with it! The in built fan in gh6 I'm a FAN of!!!
Panasonic cheaped out on the EVF because "cinema pros use the LCD or a monitor. EVFs are for losers." Also, "pros pull focus and don't need PDAF." They don't care about regular TH-cam scrubs, I guess. The GH-6 footage was way more stable, though. And you shot it while holding the Sony kit between your legs? And it at least has animal eye AF in video, unlike the A7S III. You should get the R7 or R6 II in your hands to compare with the others. Camera Canada, get in touch. P.S. - that song is hilarious!
There is no way in heck I'm lugging a big heavy Lens on any of my full frame cameras A7S3 or Canon R. Those suckers stay on a tripod in my studio. When I'm on the road the M43 is the only way to go my GH5 and new OM1 are perfect so I look no more even though I am digging your GH6 footage. Double Darn!!
You haven't lived Manual focus until you use a 500mm Tamron Macro SP F8 Mirror lens on the M43. Kinda fun, but as it's strangely made for macro, the focus throw is balanced towards close up, meaning Tiny tiny micro adjustments for anything past 20 meters, and looong focus turns close up. Sharp though.
The Sony kit starts at 200mm. The Panny is fixed at 200mm sans tc. In wildlife and sports work we can’t crop our way to that separation with the background. Cropping doesn’t magnify. So in some cases there is a distinct advantage compositionally to the full frame. I do think m43 in the gh6 and OM-1 is essentially caught up to many FF cameras on most technical merits. However we can’t ignore the physics of light waves when it comes to depth of field significance. In some situations like landscape where we want more depth in focus, and in macro, it can work in favor of crop sensors. In your video work the differences can be less important when panning with moving subjects.
No one is going to look at the output from either camera and be able to identify it as Sony or a Panasonic. Unless someone likes comparing images side-by-side and looking for small advantages on one side or the other, I think it makes sense to use the system you enjoy the most.
About the weight of the Sony combo, I know you don't like tripods, but maybe something like monopod you would try? it'll stabilize your footage and will bring some hands relief
Guess what - doesn't get better than this. Episode and camera "love". Choose one, stick with it and become a master of its constrains. Free yourself - even at the cost of this channel...
I think people miss the reason why lumix sells. Is not the auto focus what matters, most people buying GH series buy them for film making, they rig it for focus pulling, they are economical and lighter, small and affordable. They produce a high dynamic range for such small sensor. But for wild life shooting you are better of with Sony and Canon, auto focus is their strength.
DoF for mft is double a full frame, the light gathered should be within tolerances the same light levels. I agree with you fully about manual focus on Panasonic. Really you should be comparing the Sony to the Panasonic S
One shot AF as opposed to CAF would have nailed so many of your shots. I've used it almost exclusively with Panasonics and you'd think I was using PD AF. It's accurate and doesn't give you those sucky AF wobbles. Obviously you can't use it if the distance is changing dramatically, but that's not the case with almost all of your shots.
7:59 if you zoom in 2x on the Sony you will see the Toneh is exactly the same then the Panasonic on a 200mm lens. The 2x crop on the M43 reduces the Toneh (not the light gathering) by 2 stops. A 50mm lens on FF has the same toneh of a 100mm on a M43, a 75mm on a standard APSC or 82mm on a Canon APSC. Toneh is product of focal length divided by the Crop factor.
Cropping does not reduce the toneh. It reduces the field of view. So if you crop a 200mm to MFT it becomes the FOV of 400mm on FF. But toneh comes from the real diameter of the aperture which is calculated by focal length / aperture number, not crop factor. If any it is focal length / (apture number * crop factor). Hence a 200mm f/2,8 looks like a 400mm f/5,6 on FF, only that it still gathers light like a f/2,8 (damn physics 😂😂)
It was the side by side with the Sony that caused all the pain. We saw, for sure, that MFT has closed the gap. But the full frame has physics on his side, an unfair advantage. I have a FF and an MFT kit. FF for studio and short hikes. For long or arduous hikes (like the steep climb to Comet Falls) it's MFT. Now, you're young and powerful. I'm 65. I guess the weight difference is a lot more important to me. Not to mention that I have a terminal case of GAS. It makes me forgive my cameras (even the evil ones) and even when they stab me through the heart with a rusty dagger.
Kasey "Get a G85 they're perfect for what you need!" I buy a G85 and lenses... a few months later "Micro Four Losers are dead!" So... after living with the G85 (happily apart from autofocus) I save up and buy a Sony A7iv with three lenses (I sold my children as elves to flat earth Santa) and I am blown away by the images but the content is the really important thing and I suck at making content. Kasey now - I love the GH6 you should all get one (unless you want reliable autofocus) LMAO FML! I am not buying any more cameras, Kasey! I am just gonna work on sucking less (at content, not the other thing) Thanks for your content brother, jokes above, and all love for you and your journey. Remember... The man who chases two rabbits usually catches none - Confucius
The Pany looked stable as F and filmic but the Sony did 'pop' but the swaying was distracting. The colour on the Sony reminds me of when you're coming up on shrooms, a 20 year old memory now.
I would add colors to the weight for the advantages. In this comparison the Panasonic+Leica colors are really pleasing. The greens and green tint of the Sony are still weird. Especially with a side by side. (ex. : 7:50).
Spot on with my experience! I saw this South Africa video by Sebastian Linda with the GH6 and it was Cinematic magic. They are in vehicles and running around the country side getting everything in focus. Meanwhile, I couldn't get half the shots in my back yard in focus. Manual was better but not terrific. I pick up my Sony and pop, pop, pop. Nailing focus left and right but somehow not overwhelmed by footage. Back to the drawing board I guess.
I don't think they would show the shots that AREN'T in focus, would they? No telling how many shots/takes they had to do to get something in focus. Sometimes it was probably easy and took one take, and sometimes it probably took many more. More takes, say, than a Sony (and I am NO Sony fan boy).
If you really want to have some fun carrying around your rig, slap a Ninja V into the hot shoe. No, it sucks to carry, but it would give you a 2x tap to zoom function which makes it easy to see what's in focus, and too a much larger screen to see everything. Plus the external Prores recording is awesome. Cheers 🍻
Panasonic really needs to add zoom in while recording in the higher framerates. It works great and I use it all the time at 24p, but at higher frame rates its a no go.
@@jessecumberledge4530: My G9 does zoom in specifically for checking focus, there is an option in the menu for this. I don't think it's fps dependent, but rather just on or off. I have no idea if the GH6 does this, but I would imagine so. I always use my Ninja V now so a quick tap on the x2 icon shows me exactly what I need to see real fast and real easy. The only downside to this setup that I can think of is the added bulk and weight. It's only a couple lbs, but it gets real heavy real fast. Cheers 🍻
@@Finite-Tuning Until the GH6 no Panasonic cameras allowed zooming in WHILE recording. The gh6 is the first Panasonic to allow this. But it only works up to 60p. So for 4k120 you can only punch in before you hit record.
What causes the pulsing? I vlog with a scrub Galaxy A13 (I plan on getting a Pocket 2 soon) on a gimbal and then stabilize it a bit further in post. But either way the video is pretty crap even though it is FHD 1080 on the back camera.

Right now I’m using the OM-1 (+ 300mmf4) for stills and the GH6 (+ Leica 100-400mm) for video all the time. The GX80 (or em5iii) + 75-300mm is always with me when I’m climbing.
Never need to have the sensor cleaned? Never?
10:09 Panny looking great
I came for the camera comparisons
And stayed for the custom autofocus tunes.
auto tuned autofocus tunes haha, I was bobbing my head
@@kapilesh14 I've made a video that contained both C70 footage and GH6 footage, showed it to my boss and he couldn't tell which camera was which!
Great comparison video. Haven't heard the pulsing in the background song in a while. Good stuff.
Don't sleep on GH6's Open gate 5.8k. looks awesome and very tactile
100%
but the open gate removes a lot of the IBIS right?
Dynamic Range boost doesn't lower sharpeness, but it does lower contrast and good contrast helps for perceived sharpness.

11:50 That song! "Panasonic pulsing in the background". "Phase detect exists you bunch of dickheads" LOL! I'm dead!
Love the pulsing in the background song!!
I like that your journey has lead you to a deep love of nature.
Love GH6 it's a camera of my dream as currently shooting with G85 it's a great upgrade
in terms of toneh equivalence, I think a simpler way of thinking about it is that the M4/3 image is exactly what you'd get with the same focal length & aperture combo on full frame, just cropped in 2x. so the increased toneh you're getting on FF is more as a result of being zoomed in further and effectively being closer to the subject.
Depth of field effects are ALL about distance to the subject (all else being equal, or equivalent).
@@Bill-NM 100% this is why even if you get a light gathering equivalent the shot won't look the same. 16 f1.4 won't look like a 24 f2 if you crop it.
Long time no see. Glad to see you are still hitting it.
You need to revisit the 100-400mm Leica now you’re into wildlife and have a GH6. You’ll get twice as close remember. I think you tested a bad copy last time. The 100-300mm mkii is also worth a look. Buttery smooth rings and stabe!
Great video! Very informative and entertaining at the same time. When you said "I thought that was a sign of times to come", I laughed out loud ❤
M43 is most best!
Sony is better. So why do we give our love to the Panny? 1, Panny first love. 2, Panny feel in the hand is better. 3, Sony is the Empire. Panny is the Rebel Alliance. Now who doesn't watch Star Wars?
Well said and plain spoken hahaha!
😅When is the album 🎶 dropping ?
@11:20...hard to see any difference between Panny and Sony.
That Sony heron was bobbing up and down like buoy on the ocean..... "..I'm outta here.." LOL! Have a great day!
most entertaining gear review on youtube. thanks!!
11:48 Seriously this self-made tune is fucking unbeatable 🤣🤣🤣
Glad you took the hit and tested the 200 2.8 for us.
Epic Panasonic Autofocus jam.

I'm still hunting for a firmware update that solves this unbelievable oversight lol. No luck.
@@cameraconspiracies I didn't question you on the firmware as in a previous video you said you had to update the lenses for linear focusing. This sucks. Good work and keep the comparisons coming!
@@BackusCreativeImaging I was hoping there was a firmware for the teleconverter. Couldn't find one.
Haha, this is one of your best vids! Hilarious song!
I think these results were to be expected and once you get into the high price range with micro 4/3 kits, you start to lose the whole value proposition and the only advantage left is size/weight and better stabilization.
Nice of you Kasey to shoot in bright sunlight to even the odds between this two cameras. But props to Panasonic it almost matched the Sony footage.
Steady shoot and colour science from Panasonic is absolute amazing. I used to have a G9 but I sold it , and bought a sony A7V.
Love your videos equally funny, entertaining and educational. Love the side by side content. It would be bulky to carry, but imagine having a tripod sponsor provide a rig substantial enough to mount two cameras side by side so you could do simultaneous recording.
For the Sony it looks like you are shooting from a boat though. I get sea sick.
Exceptional video today. 👍 We completely appreciate the time and effort put in to show the true features between the 2 systems, and present extremely detailed examples of where your opinions actually come from. Kasey, if you are in another board meeting with the Panasonic Camera Executives and they discuss the pulsating auto focus, please give them this for me: 🖕
What is that at the end? 🤣🤣🤣
I came to search for a comparison between these two cameras and I was suggested this video. Great success! I wish I had came here to search for 10.000 dollars though.
LOL, you came here 3 minutes after the video was released as you were searching for a comparison of these particular cameras?
P.S. - that song is hilarious!
lol, that is a good point! PAnny footage shot with a bazooka held between your legs lol
My non-rattling teleconverter with the Leica doesn't have "skittish" manual focus - all nice and smooth. Sure yours ain't broke?
I mean, the only difference I saw was in contrast. Try a different picture profile, or just add a touch in post. It's really not a dig deal.
The stabilization on the Panny is a big deal. The Sony feels like you are on a boat
Excellent video. And you will find out what you need to do, I have no doubt about it.
It looks like GH6 has crashed blacks. I'm wondering if they're shot on S-log /V-log.
No one is going to look at the output from either camera and be able to identify it as Sony or a Panasonic. Unless someone likes comparing images side-by-side and looking for small advantages on one side or the other, I think it makes sense to use the system you enjoy the most.
Man I hope someone at Panasonic heard the autofocus song
About the weight of the Sony combo, I know you don't like tripods, but maybe something like monopod you would try? it'll stabilize your footage and will bring some hands relief
Manual focus with peaking works great on an OM-1 and 150-400 Pro lens at 200 fps in h.265 1080p. It's just a very expensive and hard to find m43 rig!!
If I put a tele-converter on the Lumix there is a setting (teleconverter) I had to change so the camera would perform at its best.
Guess what - doesn't get better than this. Episode and camera "love". Choose one, stick with it and become a master of its constrains. Free yourself - even at the cost of this channel...
Hahaha 😆 how do you even come up with this stuff? 😂 I'm talking about the Panasonic auto focus song. So good man!
Very good image from panasonic. Sadly AF sucks AF on m43 :/
Have you compared A7R with A7S?
Casey, my friend, did you adjust your diopter to match your eyesight?
I think people miss the reason why lumix sells. Is not the auto focus what matters, most people buying GH series buy them for film making, they rig it for focus pulling, they are economical and lighter, small and affordable. They produce a high dynamic range for such small sensor. But for wild life shooting you are better of with Sony and Canon, auto focus is their strength.
I would like to buy the soundtrack of this video, when is it out?
Pinned comment.
You've go to release your song @11:50 'Pulsing in the Background'
It's in the pinned comment.
@@cameraconspiracies Thanks. It may end up being the Christmas No. 1

This looks really good. This is enterening the realm of not mattering. its a real shame the evf and peaking makes the manual focus experience shit
The Pany looked stable as F and filmic but the Sony did 'pop' but the swaying was distracting. The colour on the Sony reminds me of when you're coming up on shrooms, a 20 year old memory now.
low light is where the Panasonic will let you down
I was drifting off to sleep when your masterpiece song 🎵 came on… trippy
Different skillset, Sebastian Linda worked on older cameras, the workarounds work for modern stuff too.
I don't think they would show the shots that AREN'T in focus, would they? No telling how many shots/takes they had to do to get something in focus. Sometimes it was probably easy and took one take, and sometimes it probably took many more. More takes, say, than a Sony (and I am NO Sony fan boy).
WOW! nice comparison, can't wait to see Leica 200f2.8 with tele convertor vs Olympus 300F4😃

Why you just don't shoot in 4k 120p on panas and then slowed it down in davinci? The 4k 120p looks fantastic for such small size combo
@@jessecumberledge4530:
My G9 does zoom in specifically for checking focus, there is an option in the menu for this.
Would love to see this comparison with Olympus...or do you think this is a micro 4/3 issue regardless of brand?
I've already battled them long ago, catch up on my older content.
Full frame all the way. That 200-600 does it all.
How you get ween to sing with you?
maybe with the 50-200 you have less toneh, and then it's easier to focus.
I loved the song!!!
What causes the pulsing? I vlog with a scrub Galaxy A13 (I plan on getting a Pocket 2 soon) on a gimbal and then stabilize it a bit further in post. But either way the video is pretty crap even though it is FHD 1080 on the back camera.
Is the Panasonic au eva1 better than Panasonic SII / SII X?
You're comparing not only the "toneh", but the lens compression you get from a zoom lens for the Sony VS the prime lens on the GH6.
