It feels like I'm watching your video in an aviary ... 😂😂😂 This reverse herringbone seat is my fave, hands down. They're so private without needing those walls and doors. Even I don't even know what an RCA cable is! Oh yay! They have the inflight mags! I slept so well on UL, then again I was so exhausted by then. Omg bejewelled, that is such a retro game.
HAHAHA I know right? My budgies just perk up whenever I talk. They are seriously SO loud. Makes recording VO very difficult. Well, I will share my UL experience when I get to it but it was definitely not the most comfortable flight.
Thank you so much for watching and your kind comments! This was my first flight with Cathay and it was truly a memorable one. My next flight with them will be in First Class to Paris.
Thank you SO much. I really do appreciate your kind words and your ongoing support. I like to create good content and share it with everyone. Shrug, have no idea how to get more people to my channel.
Spectacular footage of the landing! And I do enjoy evening landing/takeoff videos. Even if you can't see much, it can look rather lovely. I know this is irrational and factually untrue totally, but when I travel I always feel as if I have spent more time getting from the point where the plane hits the runway to the arrival gate than I did in all the hours in the air! I am not patient at all in some ways! Thank you for the video!
I am SO glad you enjoyed both the landing and takeoff videos. The sound of the engines is soothing white noise to me. Everytime I hear an engine spool up, my stress and anxiety just melts away. As always, your support is truly appreciated.
Hi Tim, the landing is not as exciting as it used to be, almost touching the apartments and aunties washing as the plane weaved thru to the runway. 😂 Love your work. Erika from sunny Perth 😎
I sadly never had the opporturnity to experience the old Hong Kong airport. I have seen many photos of the steep climb and turn of huge jets amongst the tall high rises of Hong Kong. Now, that would have been a sight!
I don't know which of your two video styles I prefer as they're both so different. One is more food focussed and the other is airline. They're both great and I know it's a lot of work and effort but please keep making both types.
Without doubt the next time I fly anywhere and Cathay Pacific flies that route I will definitely be flying in business class because you sold the airline to me.
I didn't actually find it too troublesome. Seeing as I cannot sleep on any aircraft or in any class of cabin, I literally stay awake the entire flight. So, personally, I wasn't too adversely affected by the galley or cabin crew. One thing I will say about CX crew is that they are very understanding of the passengers. They always whispered or hushed tones when the lights are turned down.
I will admit the IFE was possibly the only negative of what was a truly a great flight. For me, it wasn't an issue at at as I played bejewelled for the majority of the flight. I understand CX will be undergoing a refresh of their cabins in the coming years. I have no doubt they will deliver on a great product.
I did not know that! I've never actually flown internationally from BNE so that is actually a good piece of advise. I might ahve to fly out of BNE one day just to check it out.
Lately, heard very bad things about Cathay Pacific in terms of Not good food, Cleanliness not good..etc. How’s your flight in terms of - 1) Food 2) Seat 3) Cleanliness 4) Cabin Crew
Thank you for visiting my channel and for your comment. I can't speak for other people's experience, but I flew Cathay Pacific Melbourne to Hong Kong and then Hong Kong to Paris. On both flights, the food service and offering were some of the best I've ever received. I also had a friend who flew in economy on the same sectors a week later and he received great service, food and comfort. As I'm sure you would have noticed from my commentary on both my Cathay Pacific flights I found these flights to be better than other flights on other airlines I flown.
@TimEatsandTravels same size as my son then. I think by Asian standards, you might have big feet, too big for those slippers anyway. My dad was size 7 or 8. Regards Erika from sunny Perth 😎
I am sorry you had a negative experience. Every flight can be made or broken by service levels. I was very lucky in that I got amazing service on this and the next flights. I have flown many airlines all around the world and I have received sub par service from other 5 star airlines and I would personally never fly with them again. That's the beauty of personal choice, you get to vote with your wallet. Can you explain what happened on your flight(s)?

The atmosphere is very beautiful, very good

Fantastic video. Amazing drink and eating skills! 😂🎉
HAHA I've mastered excessive eating with ease! LOL
Agreed, the footage of the landing was spectacular. I haven't visited Hong Kong in over a decade. I think I need to return soon.
Take off and landing are my favourite parts of every flight. You should visit Hong Kong. If not for the beauty of the country then for the FOOD!
Tim, both of your video styles are just as unique as yourself ❤
THANK YOU! I really appreciate your kind words. I love to travel and I'm an over sharer. TH-cam is the perfect place for me. LOL
Love the parrots singing in the business class behind
HAHAHA My pet budgies are so noisy and won't shut up when I'm recording my voice over. LOL
Love your videos as always Tim. Content, quality, editing and travelling with you. Is TH-cam lol :) ❤️

How did you find seat 21k when it came to noise from the galley and crew walking by?

The ife on the Boeing 777s are laggy cause the tv screen is older, and can’t handle the new system.

Brisbane international airport has a smoking lounge after security.

@@TimEatsandTravels Thank you. Booked Cathay Pacific
Hi Tim, out of interest, what size are your feet?
I'm a size 11 sometimes 12, depending on the brand
@TimEatsandTravels same size as my son then. I think by Asian standards, you might have big feet, too big for those slippers anyway. My dad was size 7 or 8.

Great video but what’s the bird sound in the background music? Did not like that at all…😂😂
✈️🍷🎉
Cathy is not too impressive, I m very disappointed
