So good I'm working night shift and always catching the videos first. We are starting first race in London April 20th. Can't wait 66 birds on my list. Good video like always!
Hi Mike, I like the new loft more every time I see it, I used to have a rule that if a bird was a good flyer but didn't trap well I kept racing them but never bred with them.I felt your frustration with that cock bird, the young ones are looking promising.
That sounds like a good rule of thumb since there are plenty to breed from. He just has a bewildered look on his face when he gets home like he doesn’t know where he is. I guess that comes from giving all he’s got to get home. That’s good and bad I guess. Thanks for your comment.
Hi how are you? I have done that too. Sometimes we get so excited forget about the door😊😊😊 but that was a great exercise for them. Good luck everything looks wonderful. Thanks for video give my live to all. 😘😘😘🌹🌹🌹
I’m doing well, my friend. I hope everything is going good for you. Just rushing a little too much but it’s real life things that happen. A friend of mine forgot to open the trap on race day! It all turned out fine. Thanks for the support my friend.
Last year we tried out the dropper for the first time , we had a roller trapped and we could not manage to find the original owner and she did not want to leave , trained her quickly but had a bad habit once u throw her up she tend to first make a turn around the loft causing the race birds to take longer to come down then in the middle of the season we decide to clip the the last 4 flights halfway just for her to be able to fly to trap and it turned out super , the bad trapper cock managed to go 3× 2nds 2x 3rds all beaten until +- 5 seconds , but not once have we seen him coming always popping out of no where and dancing on the landing like he never came from a race , eventually on the final sprint race for the season i had a glimpse of a bird and threw up the dropper and finally he pulled off his well deserved win ,aswell as ace pigeon in the union 😅
Hi Mike i think a few dropper birds would help get that check cock trap in quicker. Might be worth a try. Best of luck with your season. Always look forward to your videos.🇮🇪
No they don't like it at first. they prefer seeds. they will quickly start to eat it if there is no choice. Give the pellets first for a couple days then add the corn slowly. Hope this helps.
YOUNG BIRDS LOOKING GREAT
Thanks Frank

Very nice looking birds what’s ur location?
👍👍👍
👍✌️🙏😀
What club / combine do you fly in?
What do you feed when it's race time
As the races get longer, I had more fatty seeds to the mix just to help with energy.
Can I please buy you a pair of droppers 😂 that was so frustrating!
We need a loft flying video's please were you sit on the yard and record them pls we 13:17 never seen them fly pls
👍🏽
You need a dropper bird!!!!!
I’m sure it would not have hurt to have a dropper. Thanks for your comment. ✌️😁

I’m sure you are correct about that. As soon as I get an old Homer or one with a wing problem, I will definitely use it. Thanks for your comment 👍
I was doing the same feed but my birds just didn’t like it
