I was 13 years old when my brother and I heard Piriya Dhanshree (Tabla was Mishra ji) on BBC Radio 2 Live Concert (in the 70's) I skipped school because it was being broadcasted in the afternoon it was amazing. Shiv guru ji appne to sri Krishna Bhagwan ki Darshana karadi. Apko koti koti Pranam man trapth hona aam baat hai atma trapth karvana aap Jaise Mahan sangeet gaar Ka hi Karan hai. Sucha me aap ki dhun me Bhagwan dikhate hai.
I dont know how to express the feelings after listening this Baithak. Its so beautiful, that can make some positive changes in an artists life and thinking and as well as about art of music. Respect and love for this great musician.
An artist should not indulge in such kind of long talk here speaks for almost 50+ minutes! I have attended so many live concerts but not listened to such long pre-concert talk! when you in the mood to listen to music this does not lovable proposition! no disrespect to PanditShivkumarji. Even questioner is trying to show his knowledgable and lather then go for the start of the concert ! God save us from such people!1:02 music did not start and I stop my video!
The concept itself says 'Anubhav'.So,he was expected to narrate 'anubhav' of his life,more than playing santoor.There are innumerable videos and audios available of his concerts,but this is rare.Still,one is at liberty to stop hearing.
