On the contrary, a fabulous singer of Ulhasji's stature has admitted about imitating great singers and later assimilate into his own style. What a candid person! I was amazed when I got the chance to meet him. A gem of a person.

It's our loss that we miss out or fail to recognise the genius of Pt. Mallikarjuna Mansur, Pt. Venkatesh Kumar, Pt. Mukul Shivaputra et al :( Institutions such as SRA, Sangeeet Natak Academy and such could perhaps play a role in providing the early visibility ?
