Good clear instructions, some constructive feedback given this will be a beginner's job: specify hi or low beam bulb, show different plug types (2013 Holden colorado doesn't seem to fit any adapters, pretty annoying given it's a common vehicle, maybe specify what vehiclesuse the included type), suggest checking hi/low bulbs at each stage to check you've got the right setup.
Other than that, like the video, concise!
EDIT: forgot to mention, the store where I bought the harness had 3 separate staff telling me it'd be fine when giving the vehicle model and year. Go to a loacal auto store and seach 'piggyback adaptor' with your car in the search section to find the suitable adaptor ($25-50AUD) plus get something to seal the headlight as the dust cover may be revoved to make this work.

I generally fear things that say "Easy to install" but this was genuinely easy. Only thing that was time consuming was getting the wiring for the switch through the firewall. Other than that, 100% easy!

Got the number plate light bar for my Toyota 86, looks great and goes really well. One tip to keep in mind is the supplied connectors didn't fit my sealed LED units, so an easy fix was to use a 2 into 1 fuse holder and replaced the high beam fuse in the engine bay and ran the high beam wire from that, works great.

@@samuelbradfield800 G'day Sam, I take it the LED headlights have removable globes? If yes, you can tap into the highbeam line, also it would be prudent to check that the earths are good and there are no loose connectors.

At 5:00 they go through it but say it may depend on the make/model. The end of the suitable adapter (they include 2) may plug into the globe so you may not actually have to remove the dust cover (I didn't for an old xtrail). I am thinking about putting heat shrink over the white plastic t connection on the piggybacking adapter though. It doesn't seem very solid or well-protected.

      Hi there,
Thank you for the comment, it's hard to say without being able to get stuck in, however if you have access to a multimeter the best step would be to find out where you're getting power to in each switch state as this will give you a good basis to potentially change out how its connected in, or if there is any issue with the item gives us more evidence to work with to assist.

Yes. From the cable connected to the relay (either 14V DC or 24V DC as shown in the video) connect the cable which connects to an adapter (via a white t-shaped connection) to one of your headlights. Connect the other wire from the harness to your bar/spottiies. Feed the last wire through the engine firewall and install your switch on the dash reconnecting the wire clips as they came in the pack.

      Hi there,
Thank you for the comment, while it's hard to say without looking at the wiring directly, it may well be that your vehicle is negatively switched, as this would be the normal cause for the unit engaging without being tied in to the high beam.

I had this problem the other night, and as luck would have it I and nowhere to pull over and fix it. Had to just cut the negative wire near the lights. I'm considering adding a switch so that I can isolate the power to the wire that goes to the battery terminal. I need to research more and talk to experts to see if that's a viable fix. The alternative is to sell them, buy another brand and refuse to buy another Kings product ever again. I've bought a few Kings items and quickly discovering why they're cheap. It's true that you do get what you pay for.
