I've been getting aces (every now and then) using my pro with 70 serve and power using the power slice serve from right to left and the power topspin serve from left to right
I was pretty good at serves in Top Spin 4 ......but on this man it's difficult - the timing is incredibly challenging and most times keep hitting the net ......need to practice more.
move character model as far as you can to the outside (opposite of the way they set up in this video) and aim to move the indicator horizontally (not toward the corner) to the fault line while timing the shot. if you do perfect timing or even good youll either ace every single time or the opponent will get a bad hit animation you can follow up on quickly. ive aced full sets on the serve by doing this. - corndog

The serves are hard but when you know them it's literally a gimmick. Winning games have never been easier online. Aint no way people catching this retarded system
Left stick up and you wanna go down? Not very clear... Would be nice to be more detailed on how to do it... How do you make the ball to go with more speed instead of bouncing?
The only problem with the game is the matchmaking, it sucks. Lvl 9 player being ranked with a lvl 29 one? All the time?

Agreed, the target spot is too sensitive it toggles way out very easy and by that time your About to hit the ball

You need to do always advanced serve , kick or flat in order to ace, there is no trick
You get a better chance when you unlock "Serve and Score" from the Overview. Once you do, get to 21 points to get as much practice as possible.
How to counter the serving? It always gives me hard time
Mix it up with a top spin or slice return back across the court. If you hit down the line it opens the court for the opponent
Please tell me that you can turn off all meters. I hate having the meters showing. Takes so much away from gameplay.

Anyone got any tips for serving out wide? Just doesnt seem to work in this game. Feels like it needs a patch to work properly

My controller has stick drift and it is so hard to aim… Do you have any tips for that?
Replace the stick. Costs only 5€ and can be done by anyone who can solder.
