@@trentpa9226 well, the extra bump in performance and access to your steam library is worth it for some people tbh. especially to have a smooth 90hz refresh rate compared to most switch games that generally hit 30fps. the steam deck isnt all that bad of an idea. not to mention steam sales are frequent so you can regularly get steam games for much cheaper than switch games which means over time you spend less

I finished Eldest Souls 5 times for the endings. First, the classes are not balanced. Berserk can destroy bosses en less than 30 secs, its way overpowered. Second, every time i played the game i have found a new bug. From inventory not working to gamebraking bugs like killing a boss and the game not realising it, so... Youre totally screwed. Third, the hitboxes are a dissaster. Lightbringer back can block u from dodging, final boss fire and steel ball hitboxes can remain in the arena in the last fase, so you cant see them and they can block u from moving, mirror boss can disapear and his hitbox will remain for 1 more second, so u can use a skill and it will not count. Hear me out. I really like this game; i wouldnt have played it 5 times otherwise, but its just a disaster. This are just some of the thing i've found, not all of them. If u want to buy it... Wait a few months and see if they fix some of this things. Also, the game is way too short. I've finished it in 3 hours for the first time, and that was losing time checking new dialogs and stuff. If u know where are the thing or just go and kill the bosses... It takes less than an hour... Just saying. Still a good game, just way too broken and short.

Eldest Souls? Really? Could you be more deliberate in stating “we’re a Soulslike game!”? Sounds like it’s different enough to not be simply be described as Soulslike, but the name isn’t doing anything to help distinguish itself.
So this game is entirely boss fights only? There is no build up to those fights with regular enemies and there is no punishment for dying? That sounds like an awful decision to me personally. The boss battles should be the best part of a game for sure, but not the only thing to do in the game. Hell even in Monster Hunter and Shadow of the Colossus finding the monster is part of the "puzzle" aspect of the game. This looks like u walk down a single empty path for a couple minutes and there is the boss to fight at the end. If my understanding is correct this game just sounds like it would get boring in about 10 minutes.
Yes, it's a boss rush game so only bosses. And don't worry about it getting boring. The bosses are so varied and interesting that it really doesn't have that problem.
I love the review and your content, but the person playing that game in the video is just awful xD I've beaten the game both on normal and ng+ and I can tell you, you need to be quicker and more decisive with your attacks. as for the dashes, you can unlock an upgrade to your dash later on, which allows you to dash infinitely, but makes you lose 23% of your HP every time you do so without charges. this adds an additional layer of decision making: should i dash and lose the HP but not get hit or do I just tank the hit in hope of healing through it? either way, you do have some build variety. keep making great content. 💕
The Final Verdict? Looks like he got stuck after the 1st boss (not counting the tutorial boss) How can u do any review when u not even rly played the game -.-
