- This crossing is located on the UP Joliet Sub. The entrance signals were originally gateless signals, and had gates added to them between 2012 and 2014. The exit gates were then later added in 2018.

I'm glad they upgraded that crossing. They were talking about closing it when they were building the US Cold Storage because the residents didn't want semi truck traffic driving thru the neighborhood. I'm glad they kept it open and updated it.

@@piktureit The other option was to remove the crossing altogether. It's better they upgraded than closed it.
The reason the brakets are WRRS is because WCH didn't change the casting until recently.
WCH had switched to their own casting by 2009, so I find it odd theyre still installing them in 2018.
@@TommyBNSF maybe UP still has some older ones, and continue to install them.
Why do crossings on the UP Joliet Sub Have Exit Signals and the UP Geneva Sub Doesn’t?
The Joliet Sub is a high-speed line for Amtrak and the Geneva sub isn’t
