I used to live a few blocks away from this spot There is a creek that my friends and I used to fish in as small boys. I would ride my bike over this crossing many times when I was in 5 th grade. Oh the fond memories!
UPDATE: That The Crossing Quad Gates & Pedestrian Signals Were Finally Installed Now Making The Crossing Quad Gated.

1:17 BTW There is now 1 Accident at the Crossing involved back in August of 2022 with a Amtrak Train struck and killed a Pedestrian.
My hometown , I used to walk those tracks and crossing as a kid

Also Fun Fact: That There Used To Be A Old Depot Next To The Crossing But That Was Demolished In 2012
I was lucky enough to see it in activation in March 2018 right before they ripped it up

One more question, when did UP start installing the Siemens style crossings?
@@MilesG6010 Siemens stuff started coming out in 2013, though UP started using Safetran equipment in 2010.

How Come This Crossing Never Got It’s Exit Signals Or It’s Pedestrian Gates?
The project was halted for a long time due to funds. However, they actually did recently finish it. It's fully quad gated with pedestrian gates now.
