I know people are gonna hate me for calling it a masterpiece. I know the story wasn’t the best. I really enjoy the gameplay though. The stealth system was improved over Unity in some ways. @@monkeymanmike4527true. I feel like Unity coulda been a masterpiece if it was given more time but they combined everything they had and rushed it after all the hype it got. We could’ve gotten a better story and I feel like we could’ve gone after Shay. This is my theory. Maybe we woulda had to fight another member of Shay’s Templar family after they end up killing one of arno’s closest loved ones (besides Elise). Wish the game had the ability to switch between Elise and Arno. Unity would be gold. Its gameplay is still impressive though.
Hands down my favourite Assassin's Creed game (what a surprise). It has arguably the best stealth, enjoyable gameplay and much more consistent parkour than Unity, even if it came at the cost of fewer animations.
I love Syndicate as well, but I feel many in the community are toxic to people who love Syndicate or Jacob as a character. Evie is actually really dull and boring, but she gets pushed all the time by those who don't like syndicate, and it's normally at the expense of Jacob and fans of Jacob's character. I find that really harms my enjoyment of the game.
Jacob is perfectly serious in the asylum level, the Roth levels, the pearl betrayal levels and the level where you defeat pearl, the final level, and literally any other time that Jacob was required to be serious. In contrast, evie jokes "Jesus wore it better" to Starrick during the final boss fight of the game. Evie and Jacob are as serious and comedic as each other. It's a false narrative to push evie that says otherwise. Syndicate does joke to much however, I agree on that, but it isn't because of Jacob at all.
The outfit I have on is from a mod on PC. It comes with the hood up. There’s also another mod that allows you to wear all the outfits in the game with the hood on
Syndicate is NEARLY a master piece. Jacob is a wonderfully written character with some really good character depth and some subtle traits that add to who he is as well. He's a character only people who are actually focused and socially intelligent will really understand, but he's a great character when you figure who he truely is out. Unfortunately, this leads to Jacob being very misunderstood as well. Add this to the problem with Evie, the games very poor political insert, and the story clearly suffers from a unclear direction at times. Evie is amongst the least interesting, worst acted, and most bland characters in the franchise. She offers little to the game beyond an annoying side plot with Henry, and "fans" who defend her every move, just because she is a she and not a he. Lydia however, is a welcome surprise in the game, and she has genuine presence in the cinimatics, just like Jacob. With very little time to shine, lydia proves her potential as a character, even if that potential wasn't met. The content around that character and her short story, is also very cool and a addition to the game that wasn't needed, but made it so much better. Jacob is also held back, but he is only held back in order to push his rubbish sister. The story is good, but the most interesting parts that involve who Jacob is deep down, Roth and Pearl, are the least clearly written. This is partly to avoid homophobic backlash, as Jacob's character is bisexual and this element informs his choices, anger and desire to work with Roth. Unfortunately some fans aren't mature enough to have a lgbtq man as a the main protagonist, despite the gay man who wrote syndicate, also having wrote Brotherhood, which is one of the fan favourite games. The gameplay and open world are AMAZING! I enjoy the combat, even though it can sometime be to easy, and the stealth is really good! The ability to engage with the world is far more than previous titles in the series, and the activities in the free roam are great! Free running is very good, but somewhat held back by the fact you can often (but not always) just use the grapple hook. The dlc pass was very disappointing. No new free roam map to explore in any of the games dlc packs. Evie and the Ripper in the dlc called "jack the ripper" are both utterly terrible, and actually cringe when they are trying to be deadly serious. The ripper dlc story dosent even make canonical sense to the rest of the game, and it looks all wrong for the historical year the story is set within. The last maharaja is fun, but poorly put together, and Jacob is somewhat misunderstood by the writers of that specific dlc, so he is less interesting and more brutish than he's normally supposed to be. Evie is also more boring the usual in that dlc. However, the level design is good, and the various missions are all unique and fun. The dreadful crimes is actually really good for what it is, but I can't give it to much credit as it's only avaliable for play station. Would I recommend syndicate? Absolutely! Is it what it could've and would've been before it got re-written to include evie instead just Jacob as was the original plan, well yes, the game suffers for the now tired and common gender politics agenda that has trended in almost everything by now. It's also odd to see a game of which the development went from wanting to represent a truely underrepresented minority group, (gay/bisexual men) to now where the lgbtq elements of the game are made less clear, and evie was shoehorned into the game, for "inclusion" which seems very hypocritical of the devs. So yeah, syndicate is great when it's good, and awful when it's bad.
Short main story, too much collectables items just to make the game feel longer, helix credit on helix glitch, too much things too upgrade. What make you said this is masterpiece???

London is a cool looking setting with nice atmosphere, the most polished and functional stealth system in the series, with unique animations for crouch kills, great level design, blackbox assassination missions, the investigations are very well made as well. These things aren't enough to make it a masterpiece but definitely not trash
@@muhammadsaifulloh-cf6rwthe game isn’t that good I agree but I understand why he likes it, the London setting was really cool and taking over every territory in London was awesome too and the best part was the parkour and free roam imo, I agree I like the older games more but that doesn’t mean you can’t have a good time.

This game has the best gameplay of the series. The story is subpar, and the ending atrocious, but no other AC game feels as good to play as Syndicate.
