The quality of this recording and the set-list made this old guy re-discover the top end of the volume knob!
    Thank you!!!!!

Gosh, I love this concert! Saw them in Baton Rouge on, "Nine Lives", and then in January of '81 on the, "Hi Infidelity": tour, and, of course many concerts afterwards. At a very young age I knew, and felt, what an amazing rock band was, when I heard it. Thanks for sharing.

This is a really rare set list - Kevin hardly ever sang Sophisticated Lady as it was from their first album which had Terry Lutrell on vocal. Superb post, thanks for sharing.

I agree that Kevin sing "Sophisticated Lady" sounded a bit odd to me compared to Terry Lutrell. And thanks for subscribing !! Glad to see a fellow REO fan.

@@JayREO-GnR in the early 70s I would expect Kevin to sing material from their first album but in 1980 it’s probably quite rare. Except of course 157 Riverside Ave which they still play now. I’m a proper die hard REO fan 👍🏻

Damm! They come out of the gates hard!! Weird that they're known as a pop band now.

Summer tour to support the Decade of Rock Roll double album release so the set list is unique because it featured songs from that….I went to a couple of the Michigan shows on that tour…..I liked that Don’t Let Him Go was more of a rocker at this point before they “bubblegummed” it and wrecked it in the studio.
