If glycolysis is itself an energy producing pathway , from where does initial investment of "2 ATP" comes from , so to complete energy requiring phase.
Please note that glycolysis is not the only pathway that generates ATPs in a cell, there are other catabolic pathways like beta-oxidation of fatty acids or amino acid catabolism which can generate ATPs.
It is because the breakdown of ATP in the first reaction glucose to glu-6-p will yield -7.3 kcal of energy which make this reaction to go in forward direction.
Thank Dr, Mungli. I have failed to get the other transport mechanism for NADH +H+ at 7.37 apart from Gly-3 -P shuttle. Its spelling please! Thank you.
Pls, Dr mungli which class of enzyme can we classify reaction 9 of glycolysis involving enolase?
Enolase is an example for lyase.
Thank u sir
Awesome explanation sir
Thanks for liking

sir, glu-6-p to fru-6-p why this reaction is foroward ? if there any answers sir plzz rply.....
