saw John twice with The Tenors and two other times - want to thank him for his warm recognition of Veterans everywhere. As an American who served during the Vietnam war era it is so heartwarming to hear him speak about truly giving thanks. Just wish he toured in the USA again

Thanks for posting. Fascinating to learn more about the life of my favorite Celtic singer. John speaks with such love for his Mother and Father. Touching.

This is one of the best interviews I have ever seen of you, John. You talk straight from your heart and listening to the Mistletones tell tales of you at St Michael's and your parents amazement at how your singing career took off is just wonderful. We do have something in common; math was not my best subject by a long shot either :) This was nice to hear you speaking so relaxed and so heartfelt as well. A keeper!!! GB.

Great interview. Still recall going to your concert here in Christchurch, New Zealand somewhere around '94-'95. I can't hold a tune in a bucket but I usually have a crack at some of your songs (along with a few from The Corries) when I'm in the kitchen and that seems to have rubbed off on a couple of my kids.

Herligt interveuw - kunne godt tænke mig at møde John hvis han kommer til Danmark. Har først "fundet" ham indenfor de sidste par år og nyder af og til det meste af hans TH-cam repertoire på min pc...
