@Ren5772 depends. i have a shichon and he can stay home for as long as 5 hrs. u just have to remember to close ur doors like bathroom doors and such cuz they will get in there and wont be able to come out so they will whine and bark. So depends on how u train them

Bichon come from spain originally were used for retrieval in water, I did not know this when we got ours and our son who is allergic and can't bath him because of the oils on his skin, it is not the hair that he is allergic too but the oils that Bichons have to help keep skin dry.
