  • This crucial series is narrated by the late Dr. Francis Schaeffer and former Surgeon General Dr. C. Everett Koop. Today, choices are being made that undermine human rights at their most basic level. Practices once considered unthinkable are now acceptable - abortion, infanticide and euthanasia. The destruction of human life, young and old, is being sanctioned on an ever-increasing scale by the medical profession, by the courts, by parents and by silent Christians. The five episodes in this series examine the sanctity of life as a social, moral and spiritual issue which the Christian must not ignore. Part 1: Abortion of the Human Race looks at issues in modern society that are leading to the erosion of the sanctity of human life, in particular abortion which is the keystone.
    Director: Franky Schaeffer V
    Starring: Michael Hordern

This Francis Shaffer guy is like a prophet! He accurately predicted the dumpster fire we're living in today.

A lot of great thinkers did, in fairness, by studying history and then using that to game out the specific trends of our place and time. But Shaeffer REALLY did it well!

At 44:33 a scene begins with a little girl coming into a room. She opens a closet door and removes an item. We hear her voice talking about “the slippery slope” of how abortion will lead to the killing of other humans deemed ‘inconvenient’ to society.
Here we are in 2022 seeing how Canada is encouraging people who are poor or depressed to kill themselves as way of unburdening themselves and others from the difficulty their imperfect lives imposes on us.
Perfectly predicted in this tragic film. Sad beyond my comprehension.

Schaeffer deserve a great recognition from the today's victory against Roe vs Wade overturned. His legacy was decisive.

Schaeffer and Koop were over-zealous nutjobs who thought they knew more than women about pregnancy and childbirth and the raising of children. Two men who thought that the bible should be the law of the land in a democracy specifically set up to have a separation of church and state. They have both done irreparable harm by promoting the idea that abortion is murder, when it is basic health-care. (No replies wanted, as I know they'll all just be arguementative or hateful).

We are beyond the Koop argument now. If this is not dealt with, a day will come where it will be decided that a child is not human without being in review by an elite panel , designated by overlords.

What's also a tragedy is how this video isnt shown in American Christian churches. if I was a pastor this would be shown in my church at least once a year.

There is no constitutional right to an abortion.

Lord have mercy on our souls.
The bad news is, with what’s been happening, the death rate is now 1 per person. Same as it was before the pandemic.
But the good news is, I was a sinner going to hell but Jesus Christ loved me so much, He paid for my sins on the cross! He took the wrath of God and by His wounds, I am healed. He died in my place and is risen again! He says if I just believe I will go to heaven. And I believe! Woo hoo! And you can too because He loves you the same.

yeaaah about that, what does it say just right before this little cherry of yours? and what follows after it? its endlessly fascinating that this lazerzooming cherry poking you practice is so darn common, even though its so utterly frowned upon and equally unflattering as it makes you lose face.
