Maewing feeds babies it is carrying without trough on. Trough is just for feeding those it isn’t carrying i.e in range, isn’t it. Have I missed something?
You want mutated males, one line per stat, and non mutated females. The advantage of using a perfect stat female is that it means any new mutant will be the male's level +2, which was real handy back in the days of mass hatching with AC units. If you use an incubator to keep track of stats, you can just skip getting a perfect stat female and just use any unmutated females you have lying around. I like to name the breeder males after their key stat (i.e. name rex with 44 points in health simply "44 health") and it is then silly obvious that you need to look for 46 health eggs in incubator.
It’s boosted not modded and this process usually is extremely streamlined on official due to megas as you’ll almost never start your own line as a mega will do it and you’ll just buy perfect stat eggs, also on smalls raising is extremely fast so doesn’t even take weeks let alone months
You can find rexs with #18 white regions in the wild year round. This is the white color you see on alpha rexs. I have rexs that are completely white, all regions. Even the ones that don’t show. I have also done this in #14 black :)

Looking at all the stats, especially when there are a lot of dinos, is easiest to do on Solo on Windows PC using the free program Ark Smart Breeding. Being able to see all the stats at once and sort ascending and descending any stat make breeding an awesome dino easy.
Yes, this is truly 'The Basics of Breeding'... as in you should have just used air conditioning units instead. Your using an Incubator, use it properly. The incubator will show you the colours (and which regions they will be coloured in), and the stats of the egg/baby etc. You do not need to even hatch them. Just make a note of which stats and colour regions you want, hatch the good ones and then just crack the eggs of the rejects. Its tried and true method, and you don't have 50 baby's sitting in a corner starving to death. 🤦

As I said in the video the incubator interface is crap .i.e. the way it shows the colours and stats, and as i said in the video you can crack the eggs but i hatch them to harvest the free meat. Maybe you miss all that in the video?
….the milk will feed the babies. The reason why he put food into the maewing is because it needs to eat. Having the milk on will drain its food stat. Also meat is extremely easy to get, even if he did “waste” it I don’t see the problem
@@snillum5004 You are right, I don't play on PvP servers any more, I prefer to enjoy my time in the game. So please enlighten me oh exalted one! He is breeding dinos not stealing babies here. And unless you have more than 4 babies per Maewing, then turning on milking has zero purpose.
@@Meancode Are you saying that the 4 babies in the pouches will be fed by the maewing even if the milk is off? I am new to using them but I thought it had to be on regardless?

I got a 40 points in health and 39 points in melee on a male Rex 130. Is that good?
