Thanks for the seed information and blue Hubbard's are big!! Would be hard to pull stuff up but if have enough nice to move on!! God Bless and stay Safe!! Janell
Seeds 'n Such is AWESOME! Their sales are wonderful - they run a cost of seeds based on the number of packets you get sometimes and THAT is wonderful. When you gotta get a bunch of seeds, Seeds 'n Such are great. Be warned - the seed packets usually don't have pictures and the information on the back is usually very general. I save a PDF of the infomration from the website for each variety I put in my cart so I have something to reference.
Just found you! I’m gardening in Alabama as well! I didn’t know the zones had changed! I’m in Etowah county and think it’s zone 7? The heat has been unbearable so I don’t get outside until 7 in the evening! I’m interested to see what you do with the Hubbard squash! Thanks for sharing about the seed sale! Blessings my new friend!
I just looked Etowah Co up, and its zoning didn’t change from the previous map. It looks like you guys are on the line of 7b/8a. That’s how we were zoned until this year, then we moved to 8a. I always go with James Spann- don’t plant summer plants until after Easter, no matter when Easter falls each year. Thanks so much and welcome to the channel neighbor! ❤️❤️
After a year of problems I say be careful who you order seeds from. I finally found a source for yellow Brandywine tomato seeds this year, I had poor germination, and now that my tomato season is done I can say, out of more than 50 plants from those seeds, I did not get a single yellow Brandywine tomato. That seed packet gave me cherry tomatoes, something in a purple color, lots of red or pink tomatoes, and some rainbow or tie dye looking things. Pretty sure I got a packet of floor sweepings. So be cautious and shop wisely, it’s disheartening to not get a single tomato that was what you ordered. I’ll be dealing with reputable seed distributors from now on. I’m too old for my more of these life lessons lol.
Oh wow, sorry you had that luck. I’ve never had any trouble like that. Sounds like through the reviews though that these companies are pretty reputable. I know Seed Savers and High Mowing are reputable, and it sounds like Renee’s Garden is pretty well known as well! I was just letting everyone know about a good sale.
@@harmonhomestead7434 the website was recommended by a TH-cam gardening channel, so I trusted it. I like your channel, it’s always informational, just be careful who you stake your reputation on. Over here in the mountains of Arkansas we don’t have many options, we have to do a lot of mail order. You can bet my business will go to well established company’s from now on. I don’t have many years left and I don’t want to waste them on crap I don’t want to grow.
What a wonderful video thanks for sharing this with us!!😊
You’re welcome! ☺️
I just subscribed to their newsletter. Hopefully I'll get a notification on the next sale.
Good deal! 😁👍

I will see if they have the Red Russian kale you recommended, can't find it in Pa. Thanks
If they don’t, I know MIGardner has before! 👍
