I love classic cars! Very enjoyable to watch. I noticed some bikes at the very end. Were they motorized at all or just regular old style bikes? Thanks for the tour 👍
They were gas powered bikes at the museum. I will show more in the future. They had a room dedicated to them. I only noticed it before I left and decided to add in the two bikes at the end of the video as a teaser. 😊
I really enjoyed this video, Russ. I'm a classic car and movie car lover, and this museum clearly has some amazing examples. This really takes me back to my childhood, thanks!! And I really enjoy your ebike videos as well 😊
Thanks Russ. I like the Volo Auto Museum. There are also military vehicles. Two more museums I really like is Gilmore Auto Museum in Hickory Corners, Mi. Be prepared for hours of viewing! And the Auburn Duesenburg Museum in Auburn In. Oh, one more. Lane Museum in Nashville.
I'm with you Rus the 1960s Batmobile was the best! They also have one at the car museum in Gatlinburg TN and for $10 they'll take your photo while you sit behind the wheel! I'll have to put he Volo on my list of 'must visit' museums along with the Pederson in LA.
Thanks for sharing Russ. Love classic cars. My Dad had the classic “Christine” car in white for many years. Maybe they’ll make the Batmobile in an ebike version, that would be cool.
They have a variety of ticket package options, but for a single day pass (and not attending all the other attractions here), the cost is $24.95. I purchased a year's pass for $60 plus tax. Here's all the package options: ecom.roller.app/volomuseum/checkout/en-us/home?fx_sid=e1e354a5-54cd-499b-b6cd-eebd81ddf43a&fx_uid=b85b31f3-e117-4e2c-82ab-bdea31d37ceb&fx_gaId=GA1.1.1241357517.1734491879&fx_s=direct&fx_m=direct&fx_c=direct
At one point, Revell and Monogram merged. I used to save up my money to buy toy models. My favorites were the Lost In Space Robot and the Flying Sub from Voyage To The Bottom of the Sea, and the Starship Enterprise from Star Trek. 😊

I am glad you liked it. I hope to do more at the museum. Lots of classic cars here that I did not show yet. 😊
Very interesting museum thanks for sharing Russ ❤
😊
Passed by that place several times but never been in. Enjoyed the video. Thanks for the video.
Well worth going inside. I just showed a fraction of what is there. I will do more in the future.
One of those cars would make a nice, Russ Is Right Christmas give away. 🧑🏼🎄

“Bat bike !” 🤣
Nice video Russ. I live near there myself but have never went. I have to make time and go. Merry Christmas
Worth going to see the hold restored cars. The movie cars are a nice bonus. They also have an antique mall in several buildings too!
When are you going to take us on a train ride and explore Chicago. Great Video they have quite a few unique vehicles.
Maybe one day…
Looks like a great place how much are the tickets to get in?

@ thank you very much. Looks like a great place.
Chevy Box Nova? Could you please explain the theory behind playing background Music when someone is giving commentary? Great Video.
Russ, is that the original Batmobile? ..or a replica?
The sign specifically says it is not a replica. It is signed by George Barris who made the 1966 Batmobiles. They had several for the show.
Ravel made a lot of model
kits.

@RussIsRight my brother built a lost in space robot with an erector set. A real to real tape deck provided the audio for the robot.
