I stumbled upon your videos by chance, and am so glad I did... You're a charming instructor on a topic that I found overwhelming and quite daunting. Honestly, you've made it seem approachable. The snippets of your family makes it feel even more doable (is that even a word?). I have two daughters, teens, and it's lovely to see a mom at the table crafting while the kiddos do their thing right beside her. It felt like i was visiting a friend, or even at my own home... Thank you for the time and effort you spend creating these tutorials. You and your videos are greatly appreciated.

I have been beading since the 60's. I used to bead a lot of the outfits the dancers wore. I still do all kinds of bead work but just not as often. I taught my boys as well as my grandchildren all to bead. I taught them to design as well.

Thank you so much! This was so helpful when you use the larger beads.

I do one needle beading but come up 3 beads back instead of 2 and go thru the last 3 before picking up 2 more beads. This fastens both sides of the beads to the backing.

I also go back three brads [after the first set of two.]. This secures the beads and gives a more uniform finish. When I complete the row I also go through the entire row again straight through. This give a very even look and fills the beads for stability. Doing this however you may want to use a thinner thread, or single thread method or use Fireline 6 lb. Thank you for the video!

I do the one needle technique but only a single thread so I don’t have a problem going through the beads. Majority of the time I use size 13 or 15 seed beads..

I'm learning right now and I would live to learn Buffalo for Buffalo Bills. One of our players just had a heart attack on the field. I want my very first ones to honor him. Do you have any Buffalo tutorials please? Thank you so much.
