The best part of the game was seeing Frau Engel's reaction when she saw Blazkowicz. I was satisfied.
Some complain that she didn't have a boss fight, but that suits her well. Deathshead had one because he was a brute force inventor who liked fucking with Blazkowickz, and was big enough for the series to go out with a bang. She was manipulative with words, barely able to fight physically, but able to command shitloads of assholes. Also, she ran a concentration camp, so fuck that bitch.
Besides, fighting those damn black hole robots was as much of a boss fight as I needed.
Famix I agree plus I always find boss fights to be anti climactic I think they way they killed Frau Engel was perfect
exactly, those fucking robots were hard as fuck, it took me over 50 attempts on do or die difficulty and i wasn't able to make it, i made it on 10th attempt on bring'em on
I would've like to see her death be a little slower,maybe do the same thing she did to him and cut her head off and show it to the camera,would've been a nice touch.

The original has a "fight for your right to party" kind of vibe.

The Partisan fitted well with The Old Blood, we all knew that despite the efforts of B.J getting the folder with the map, they were doomed. But despite what people say, this one fits well too, optimistic, ready too fight with anger after all of what B.J has been through.
this is exactly what i’ve been saying for years, old blood ends with the beginning of a suicide mission while new colossus ends with the beginning of a revolution. the songs are very different but they both work perfectly for their stories

Because after putting out Old Blood, bethesda somehow made this, the gameplay is worse, Level design outright bad, the difficulty spikes horrible, no final boss, the story has a massive cliffhanger, and compared to Mick Gordon's metal, or any of the last 3 game's music, this is objectively the worst music ever to be put in a Wolfenstein game

Then how can you say the gameplay is worse, it is the same if not better, I mean there are literally no changes between this and New Order/Old blood (only difference being the movement speed when dual wielding, which is amazing imo) so how can you say the gameplay is bad?? We can talk about the story and level design all you want but the gameplay is rock solid, some of the best in decades

In context its about revolting against a global empire, compared to the original which is more about defying the expectations of your parents being too controlling of you as a teenager. I don`t think killing hitler would make any difference at all (despite a symbolic one ofc). As we saw, he is obviously old, sick, and out of his mind and probably has no control over anything else than his movies. he lives in his bubble while others are actually in charge.

For all the shit they got for choosing this song in their ending credits, I think it fits the game pretty damn well. It's not supposed to be pretty or likeable. It's supposed to be tough, gruesome, violent and even a little bit insane. Like or dislike the song - you can't argue that it doesn't fit the game or specifically the main character.

I fucking love metal, from the dawn of to current, pretty much every genre.
But man, the vocals in this cover most of the time feel like one of the shitty metal disney cover tracks. He has such a range of voice and growls, it just seems dumb for him to have gone full vocal fry when he very well could've thrown in some power vocals for the chorus and saved the screams for the end breakdown, which would've made the breakdown much more intense as well.
