I love that yall touched on "cut tracks". As a full time engineer here in Atlanta, having those cut tracks are absolutely mandatory. If you want to take your speed a step further, add a couple drop tracks under your cut track. Tracks you can drop your vocals on quickly until you have a bit more time to put them on the appropriate track within your template. Its a game changer. (I even have specified "playlist" (mono and stereo) tracks that are always muted that i use exclusively for playlisting everything.)
